We have had a few unsavory characters (suspected bots) make bogus statements on The Beach Wagon's page, ads, and in the The Beach Wagon's Facebook group. They have claimed not having received (free) merchandise where they paid the shipping. The Beach Wagon has not hosted such a give-away and we do not believe in business practices where something is promised and not delivered.

Our company strives to provide quality products and give the absolute best customer service possible. We will soon begin selling multiple products, while maintaining our mission of preventing single-use beach gear with our rentals.

We absolutely LOVE all the wonderful people we've gotten to meet since starting this business and look forward to many more years of meeting even more!

In the spring of 2012, there was an enormous movement of manta rays along the Gulf Coast. It was cool to lie on a float and have them glide under you. In researching these beautiful bats of the sea, I learned that a group of rays is called a “fever.” Each year the number of fevers may vary greatly. Many of the groups have fascinating names. A group of sharks is appropriately named a “shiver,” though I would be doing more than shivering if I found myself near them. A batch of flying fish is known as a “glide.” While diving, avoiding a “swarm” or “bed” of eels is advised, though it really is something to see. I would love to find a “cast” of crabs or a “risk” of lobsters to fill my belly. The delicious swordfish with his long nose becomes part of a “flotilla” when hanging out when friends. Large groups of jellyfish are referred to as a “smack,” a “fluther,” a “brood,” or a “bloom.” You don’t have to go to church to find a “congregation” of alligators, as seen below. You don’t have to be at family Thanksgiving to witness a “squabble” of seagulls. Oysters hold “parliament,” while a large gathering of porpoises can wreck “turmoil.” Groups of sea life are majestic and their uniqueness leads to some really interesting names!
