NANNY CAN, LLC, is an Active Duty military family owned business who specializes in providing quality childcare for all military retreats including but not limited to Strong Bonds, Yellow Ribbon, CREDO and Air Force Family Enrichment events at hotels/condo resorts nationwide. At NANNY CAN, LLC, we are a government approved contractor providing services for all branches of the military. We provide

a database of professional sitters, all of whom have been subjected to background checks and are certified in CPR and first aid. We ensure the security, safety, and happiness of you and your children by holding sitters to the highest standards. We are available 24 hours a day and, even though we prefer at least a 24-hour notice of a booking, we understand the need for last minute baby-sitting needs and will accommodate whenever possible. Registration
For the well being of your child, as well as our sitters, before the first booking, we require you to complete an enrollment packet, which includes the following:

Registration form
Policies and Procedures form
Medical waiver
Outside play waiver
A one-time registration fee of $25 for locals, $10 for visitors

Arrival and Departure
NANNY CAN sitters will arrive 10 minutes prior to the booking time, at no extra cost to you, in order to go over any special requests you may have for your child/children. We ask that you respect the Sitters’ needs by abiding by the designated time of your return. This is due to the fact that some of our sitters are chosen for your specified times according to their availability. However, we understand that situations may arise and we ask that you inform the sitter if you will not be able to return at the agreed upon time. Should you arrive later than 15 minutes past the booked time, a further hour will be charged. We are available for bookings during the office hours of 9-5pm, our cell phones are on 24hr a day, but are primarily used in case of an emergency. Driving Surcharge
NANNY CAN charges a driving surcharge determined by distance from our office. Call our office to inquire. Visits
Our open door policy invites you to check in any time and also allows NANNY CAN managers to stop by during a booking in order to ensure that all requirements are being met to keep your child/children safe and happy. No other visitors are allowed inside the house while NANNY CAN is in attendance, unless you notify the nanny. So if Grandma or the Bug Man are coming over, be sure to notify your Nanny ahead of time. Meals
Our sitters will only feed your child/children foods that have been pre-approved by you and will not bring in or order any foods that have not been first discussed with you. Play and Exercise
We know that children need to be active and our sitters are there to interact with the child/children. Should you require us to pick up or drop off your child/children anywhere, you will be responsible for providing car seats and pay for mileage at $.36/mile unless it is your vehicle. However a transportation waiver is still required in all cases. Also, we welcome any input from you regarding specific music, games, videos, and activities you would like for us to utilize while interacting with your child/children. * WE DO NOT SWIM WITH CHILDREN. Billing
We ask that payment be made at the time of booking in the form of Visa, Master Card, American Express, or a Debit card. If you choose to use your credit card there will be a percentage charged. Once a set schedule is established, however, we will accept cash or checks - in a sealed envelope, checks, must be made payable to NANNY CAN, LLC, with a credit card number on file, and given to the sitter on the last scheduled day of the week when the Time Sheet is signed. (Our schedules run Monday – Sunday.) If bills are not paid in a timely manner, a late fee will be incurred and the credit card number on file will be charged. If there are any disputes regarding payment the matter will be taken to court and you will be responsible for court costs and legal fees. Mileage will be charged at our discretion, mainly for Walton county. If you choose to use a credit card, there is a 3-5% charge depending on type of card used. We will only accept checks from locals. Cancellation
If you decide to cancel a booking, we require at least a 24-hour notice otherwise a fee will be charged at our discretion. During the summer months once a booking has been made, it cannot be cancelled, as our nannys are at a premium and we have probably turned people away to fill your booking. Discipline Policy
We at NANNY CAN are committed to a nonviolent policy as set forth by the state of Florida. Our sitters will never discipline by using methods which are severe, humiliating, or frightening and will never withhold food, toilet privileges, rest, or any form of physical punishment. We strongly believe in positive reinforcement and logical discussion to achieve good behavior of children. We communicate to children the importance of respect for themselves, others, and property. Should a situation arise in which a sitter is not able to control your child/children by these methods, only then will you be contacted. If the situation requires your return home, you will be responsible for the full booking fee. Illness Policy
