Happy Monday! This may be one of the most unpopular & unprofessional business posts in the eyes of many. However, I am called to be set apart & unashamed.

As a small business owner investing & pouring into my start up I’ve found myself ill-equipped & intimidated. Intimidated that maybe this is not for me after all. It can be hard branding your name and getting established from scratch. Some owners soar right away, some where blessed with finances to start up. Then there’s some that hit plateaus or lay in what seems like a desert valley. Today, I am encouraged though after some reading in 1 Kings 3:6-14 and hope it will find you encouragement as well.

The great and powerful King Solomon was intimidated and also felt ill-equipped to serve the multitudes of people before Him. Who’d a thought that someone so great also had fears & doubt?! Solomon asked for wisdom in leading & God granted him this. Not only that but he was blessed with an abundance of wealth in addition to..not because Solomon asked for it but because of his hearts posture He was blessed with more than he asked for.

My hearts desire is to serve our community, other small business owners, & be a beacon of hope that points people to the cross. I just pray for wisdom & direction as I navigate this business world.

Today, I proclaim His promises over Mira Gratia Custom Events and those it serves & will serve for years to come. I pray for all small business owners that are discouraged & struggling, may His hope, favor, and guidance be before each one of us ❤️
