The Sapp House is a wedding and special events venue located in historic downtown Panama City. The iconic home was built for Judge J.M. & Ella Mae Sapp (circa 1916). It is one of our area’s oldest remaining homes and has served as a community gathering spot for over 100 years. The Sapp House has been listed as an individual site on the National Register of Historic Places.

We’ve found the earliest known picture of The Sapp House when Judge & Ella Mae Sapp we’re close to finishing construction on their family’s homestead in 1916. Take a close look at the oak tree 🌳 to the left of the front porch. And take a look at that “granddaddy” today. A true century-old heritage oak tree - overlooking it all.
