2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional) 🌿
Instructions:

Instructions:

Step 1: Cook the Chicken

1 lb ground beef 🍖
1 small onion, chopped 🧅
3-4 large potatoes, thinly sliced (Yukon Gold or Russet) 🥔
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or your preferred cream soup) 🍄
1 cup milk 🥛
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 🧀
Salt and black pepper, to taste 🧂
1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional) 🧄
1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional) 🌿
Optional: fresh parsley for garnish 🌿
Instructions
Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook the Ground Beef:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the meat is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.
Prepare the Casserole:
