Here’s the “line up” for tomorrow’s Wi******er Clark County Farmers’ Market: Lots of Roma II beans and jade bush beans, fresh harvest of all 3 varieties of potatoes, new peach and apple fruit roll ups, lemon balm tea, garlic, okra, a variety of heirloom cherry tomatoes, Rossi Sicilian and Early Girl tomatoes, yellow squash, banana peppers, Brussels sprouts, sunflowers and flower bouquets. Let’s see if this makes the mainstream news. Encourage growers and farmers to do away with sprays and chemicals. Are we really okay with being poisoned? This is something I’m truly passionate about and pray we all wake up soon and fight for clean food. So our produce won’t be as “pretty” in the grocery store but a few bug bites and blemishes aren’t going to kill any of us. Read on:

Once again it’s been busy getting ready for the Wi******er Clark County Farmers’ Market. I’ll be bringing a variety of tomatoes and on a side note, for the first time, I made sauce with the Rosso Sicilian heirloom tomatoes and they are delicious. Easy to peel and made a terrific spaghetti sauce.
I’ll have silver queen corn that is very sweet again after all this rain, peaches with white and peach flesh (no sprays or chemical fertilizers on anything on my farm, ever), garlic, jade beans, a few Roma II’s, KY wonders, Brussels sprouts, flower bouquets, Yukon gold and red potatoes, and new for 2024, lemon balm tea, jars of dried herb oregano, and peach and apple fruit rollups. Come get the goodies tomorrow, 8 am - noon or just stop by for a visit. 😊

Lots of harvesting for tomorrow’s Wi******er Clark County Veggie Festival, phew…hot. I’ll be bringing 3 types of green beans, 3 types of potatoes, tomatoes…red, green and cherry, Brussels sprouts, peaches, blackberries, sunflowers and gladiolas (3 for $5), flower bouquets, silver queen corn, cucumbers, yellow squash, okra, carrots, cabbage, bell peppers, garlic, apple snacks and Candy onions. There’s more but I can’t remember all of it…lol. Hoping to see you tomorrow! Stay cool.

I’m bringing flower bouquets, green beans (stringless), Roma beans, red, blue and Yukon gold potatoes, carrot bunches, candy onions, garlic and a few other goodies. Getting ready for tomorrow’s Wi******er Farmers’ Market. The flowers are a definite WOW right now. Come early if you want flowers for your table. These ”ladies” will not appreciate the 90 degree heat later in the day. I have sunflowers and the new baby blue eucalyptus is ready too. I’ll also have small tender yellow squash (I pick them small so they’re still tender), green cabbage, carrot bunches, the last of the spring onions and lettuces, raspberries, small peaches, garlic and Yukon gold potatoes. The average American farmer doesn't fix fences and drive tractors. Thanks to market concentration, there is now a handful of companies that dominate the US food system, and they are impacting Australia too.
