What a Fantastic day we had at the TEXAS HOLD’EM Lamb, Goat & Hog Shows!!!

A special thank you to the parents who get up early to load trailers, equipment and animals for competition and work hard all day supporting their children, and make the journey home with even more time spent unloading everything and getting ready for the next livestock show!!! It takes a deep love to endure the long hours needed but it reflects positively in your youth when we get to see them show in the ring! CONGRATULATIONS to all the Exhibitors and we at Diamond H wish y’all great success at the upcoming State Fair!!!

TEXAS HOLD’EM PIG JUDGE🎉
Saturday Night shows start 7pm

Karli Schwerdtfeger, from Stratford, Oklahoma is a Junior at Oklahoma State University. At Oklahoma State she studies Agriculture Communications and Agribusiness. She has been a part of the showpig industry for many years raising livestock with her dad. Karli has been successful on both sides of the show ring judging on a collegiate level winning many accolades as well as obtaining high achievements through the state and national level. She is currently serving on the National Junior Swine Association Junior Board. She has made it a goal to invest her time and knowledge into the young leaders of the show industry today.

Let’s welcome our Judges for this Saturday🎉🎉🎉

Jesse Lazenby will be sorting goats, lambs and pigs at the Texas Hold’em Showdown. He grew up in North Zulch, Texas. Where he actively participated in Livestock judging and showing animals across the state of Texas. After graduating high school, Jesse went on to attend Clarendon Community College. He was a member of the marking team and had success at the national level in multiple species. After graduating from Clarendon he attended Texas A&M and was also a member of the livestock judging team. Upon receiving a bachelors in animal science Jesse took a job teaching agriculture at the high school level for 3 years. Now he resides in Hockley, Texas. Where he raises sheep and pigs and enjoys helping families compete at major and county shows.

And

Wyatt Wharton is from Ben Franklin, Texas. There, he raises show sheep and goats alongside his family. He attended Clarendon College and was a part of the livestock judging team where he competed nationally. He then attended Tarleton State University where he got his bachelors in Agriculture Education. He is currently teaching Agriculture Science at Lone Oak High School in Lone Oak, TX. He has judged county fairs and jackpot shows in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Wyoming.

🎉September 7th Junior Cattle Show Judge is Jenna Hein🎉

Jenna is a 2019 graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Sciences. She was named on Purple Circle Magazine's 30 under 30 list in 2021 and 2022 for her efforts in youth development across the agriculture industry. Jenna currently resides in Sealy, Texas where she and her family operate Higher Up Cattle Company, a Simmental/Simbrah based operation that focuses heavily on the junior program, along with working for Ranch Hand Analytics, a data service company that works with seedstock and commercial cattle breeders across the country.
