Remember earlier this summer when we competed in the Garlic Mustard Games?
Well, the games are over.
And we lost.

But we had a great time and collectively the volunteers from all the teams pulled a crapload of garlic mustard (nearly 13,000lbs).
That’s a win for everyone.

Plus, we got to cook and eat chicken adobo tacos at the games’ closing ceremonies. 😜

That’s a big win.

Great.
One day before the biggest event of the month and our walk-in goes on the fritz. 😫
Friday the 13th... here we go.

Luckily Chefs Joseph and John are both incredibly resourceful and downright stubborn when it comes to stuff like this. They refuse to be beaten by a refrigerator.
Knowing them, it'll be fixed and working better than ever by the time we finish this post.

Supposedly, the COBB SALAD was invented in 1937 by a hungry Los Angeles restauranteur (Robert Howard Cobb) who raided his fridge and threw together a bunch of leftover ingredients at the end of a long day. 🥗
Shout out to Bob Cobb!

Appetizer Spotlight 🔦🔦 Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

We 💚 asparagus.
And we love, love, LOVE salty cured meats.
So, wrapping them up together really gets us amped. 😋
The salty crispiness you get from roasting those thin slices of prosciutto… yum!
