On April 1, 2016, I opened up the doors to WISH for the first time and held my breath, hoping for the best, or at the very least, a single customer.
By my side from day one was Shannon, who helped me manage this dream come true, as it evolved and grew over the years.
I have loved every minute of it, despite the long hours and exhausting days which were quite literally a labor of love.
Getting to know our customers who have become familiar faces made all of the hard work worth while.
Curating WISH has truly been one of the highlights of my life and the store means so much to me.
But, as life happens with all of its unexpected twists and turns, the time has come for me to pass the party baton.
My family is making a permanent move to Charleston, S.C.
But, WISH will remain here in Park City, where it belongs!
As of today, Shannon McDonnell, is the well deserved new owner.
You probably know her well, as her smiling face is the one you see most often when you walk through our door.
I can assure you, she knows this business inside and out.
And, I have no doubt she will continue to provide our customers with the same high level of service they are accustomed to.
I have committed to helping Shannon with the buying during this transition to ensure our products and brands remain consistent.
I wanted to give one final thank you for all of your support over the last 6 years.
And, ask that you please continue to support Shannon as she carries WISH into its next exciting chapter!
