Here's another video of a song from my new album "That Ship Has Sailed" a tune about the hypocrisy of supposed "Christians". It seems they ignore every tenant of the actual faith. This tune is entitled "Practice What You Preach" It's a bit of a Swampy Country tune... I really liked the way the track came out... Let me know what you think

Hi everyone.. Hope you're having a great day and are happy with your life. Which co-incidentally is what this song and video is about. most of the tunleson this new album are about relationships and how we choose to look at the world.. here the protagonists goes through life happy, ignoring all the naysayers around him... You'd be amazed how many people are annoyed at people who have that approach calling them naive or uninformed but most often that is not the case... They choose to be happy DESPITE all the bad things going on around them, instead being grateful what they do have. So here is the 5th video and song off my new "That Ship Has Sailed" album
Hope you enjoy it... I choose to do the video in a Robert Crumb style of animation cels. (He did the Grateful Dead art work)

Around 1977 I started writing a concept album about the civil war which was going to focus on, among other things, that it was the first American war that had relatively fast media coverage and importantly, photography to show the horrors of war. Many men and woman thought it was a grand lark and a way to gain fame especially in the South. In the early days of the war, civilians sometimes would picnic on bluffs to watch the men fight
So I started the album and shortly thereafter White Mansions album was released an album of the civil war by Waylon Jennings, jessi colter and others and there was another release on the civil war at the same time so I scrapped the project. But this song remained. Years later in 2002 I put the song on my “throwback” album. Now I made a video. A long and winding road to get to this point. Hope you enjoy it. About the innocent confederate about to go off to war with no idea of the seriousness of that endeavor
