I had the honor of spending time with Cooper’s parents as they said both their hellos, and goodbyes last week.
As a bereavement photographer, there is nothing that makes this process any easier - except knowing there are other people in the world who understand the emotions that collide with the reality of never holding your child’s tiny hand again, washing spaghetti off their face, packing their backpacks for the first day of school…the list is endless. But, when we can share their names, share their faces, share the details of the person they were, it keeps their spirit alive with us who have lost them. 🤍

Heyyy friends!!! Sorry for the radio silence!
We’ve been hard at work wrapping up galleries (along with the chaos of life with 5 kids in activities, my RN job, family gatherings, band and choir concerts etc etc 🙃🤍) so thank you to those still waiting on galleries - I’m burning the candle at both ends to get everything out for you all! … And! EPIC WEDDING for my “baby brother” and his gorgeous wife! 😍
Where do I even begin? From their private vows with their first look, to their visit from Trump (👀😂), their 88 year old Amazing flower girl (and pup Baxter as the ringbearer!), popcorn at ABP, All The Blooming Trees!…celebrating with an amazing group of family and friends, and dancing the night away with … with special guest - this day couldn’t have gone any better! Eeek!! Sorry it’s been a little quiet here lately, it has been incredibly busy!🥰 We’ve gotten to meet lots of new little babies (and more to come!), play with so many sweet kiddos, and kicked off wedding season this past weekend—as we gear up for lots of sessions this coming weekend!

I was able to be present for this sweet one’s birth (and she’s got a pretty awesome name 😍) … Willow’s family brought their heirloom cradleboard again (like they had with big brother Ayden!), but also brought a birch basket that had a willow branch woven into the top, and her star blanket that was made by auntie!😍 I absolutely love when people bring such meaningful things to incorporate into their sessions!

I had the honor of photographing her big sister’s maternity/newborn session, and then her’s as well!😍 I just adore when I get the privilege of seeing families back/growing!!🥰 this little babe was one of the most alert/attentive babies I’ve photographed (you may not know it in these photos, as we finally got her nice and sleepy😂) but I do love some of those intense shots we get to catch in baby’s awake cycle!😍
