Mid-Ohio Valley Wedding Officiants, LLC I am a full-time professional wedding officiant licensed in WV and OH. I also serve KY. Two and-a-half years later, I became ordained. I'm also a photographer.

After my husband and I eloped in lieu of having a wedding, I loved the experience so much that I thought I’d like to officiate weddings one day. I wanted to have a side business to help my photography business during the down seasons. I officiated my first wedding when I turned a portion of my photography studio into a wedding chapel June 2018. I didn’t expect this “side service” to become my full

-time passion. After officiating my first wedding, I was hooked. Mid-Ohio Valley Wedding Officiants is now a full-time business. Since then, I have fully immersed myself into the wedding industry. I have a home-based office outside of Belpre, OH. I offer a pre- and post-marriage assessment to couples that will give important insight to help couples create life-long love. It's the highly-rated and successful SYMBIS assessment. I graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a Master of Arts in English. My background is in counseling, as well as a 17-year teaching career in English, literature, and public speaking. Currently, I operate Mid-Ohio Valley Wedding Officiants full time and teach English as a Second Language to students in China and Hong Kong. You can check out some of my work at deblorentsphoto.com. I officiated my first ceremony in June 2018. Today, I've officiated HUNDREDS all over WV and OH. I've met amazing people. I've learned to customize and improvise ceremonies when the predictable become unpredictable. I love what I do.

I'm getting inquiries through 2026 but can still honor short-notice requests. I closed the chapel two years ago. I join couples in marriage at gorgeous venues across two states; however, I also specialize in meet-and-marry ceremonies.

Here's a shout-out to all of you who have allowed me to be part of your special day. It's been an honor.

The rest of September is open! Contact me for noon Sign-and-Go ceremonies (Wood County Courthouse), OH and WV Sign-and-Go ceremonies, elopements, and traditional wedding ceremonies.

Coming soon: I'll be offering after-the-ceremony photo packages for Sign-and-Go ceremonies and elopements.

Mid-Ohio Valley Wedding Officiants is located at 531 Market Street, on the corners of Sixth and Market Streets

After my husband and I eloped in lieu of having a wedding, I loved the experience so much that I thought I’d like to officiate weddings one day. Two and-a-half years later, I became ordained. I wanted to have a side business to help my photography business during the down seasons.

I officiated my first wedding when I turned a portion of my photography studio into a wedding chapel June 2018. I didn’t expect this “side service” to become my full-time passion. After officiating my first wedding, I was hooked. Mid-Ohio Valley Wedding Officiants is now a full-time business.

Since then, I have fully immersed myself into the wedding industry. I have offices in Veto, OH and Parkersburg, WV, and I officiate weddings in any town in WV and OH. However, my elopement chapel and micro-chapels are in downtown Parkersburg, WV at 531 Market Street, three doors up from where I originally officiated my first ceremony.

I also have another division: Mid-Ohio Valley Celebrant Services -- writing and officiating for cradle to grave ceremonies, including but not limited to baby naming ceremonies, family blending ceremonies, adoption celebrations, funeral and memorial ceremonies. I write it. You read it. OR, I write it and officiate your ceremony.
