We're thrilled to host Robert Newell, author of the gripping book series Violence in the Valley, for a special reading and discussion! Dive into the fascinating world of true crime in the mid-Ohio Valley, where unusual murders, kidnappings, mob hits, drug wars, and other gripping cases unfold along the peaceful Ohio River—from Wheeling to Huntington, West Virginia.

Music brought to you by Munoz Law Office! 🎨🎸 Evie is 17 year old Parkersburg native about to graduate cosmetology school, all while performing at local venues. We enjoyed her cover of “Country Roads” so much that we nicknamed her Janice Denver. Get here early on October 14th because she’s our opening act, starting at 5pm! We jam out during event set ups! This is an alternative to the traditional set up I usually do. We threw in some palace style tables that seat 12 instead of 8. The Parkersburg Art Center is an elegant, versatile, and unique venue, with lots of room, no restrictions on your choice of caterer, and plenty of available parking for your guests. When you book your event at the Parkersburg Art Center, you don’t just get a facility....you get an event that’s a work of art!

A wedding, a corporate event, a reunion -- whatever sort of occasion you are planning for -- can be a very exciting time, but also a time full of decisions to be made. One of the biggest decisions you’ll make in your planning is “WHERE?” You’ve come up with your budget and an idea about the number of participants. Now there are some questions you should ask yourself while deciding about the location for your event:
