TODAY IS THE DAY! Camp Creativity Registration Opens!
Camp Creativity is all about fun, learning and artistic exploration! We have camp weeks for ages 4-18.

Camp Creativity provides a wide variety of visual arts experiences. Students explore various mediums, techniques, artistic styles and learn about the work of famous, and not-so-famous, artists. Lesson plans for each week are different so children can sign-up for more than one and enjoy a fresh experience. Meet new friends in a safe environment with expert creative guidance.
Spark imagination, build confidence, and create unforgettable memories!

2025 Camp Dates
Mini Camp (4-5 years): June 9-13 and August 4-8
1st-3rd grade: June 16-20, June 23-27, and July 14-18
4th-6th grade: July 7-11 and July 28-Aug 1
Teen Clay Camp: June 30-July 3
Teen Mixed Media: July 21-25

Refund policy: A $10 online processing fee will be applied to all refunds. No refund will be given 10 days prior to your scheduled camp. SO CHECK YOU CALENDAR before you register :-)

Thanks to funding provided by Henry Logan Children’s Home Foundation, need based scholarships are available for those who qualify. Send email to inquire to [email protected]. Application for scholarships must be received and approved before registration. Scholarships are not retroactive.

WV Art teachers, join us at the Parkersburg Art Center for a FREE day of creativity and professional development! From 10 AM-2 PM, immerse yourself in studio art-making alongside fellow WV teachers. Plus, don’t forget—this is also the drop-off date for the YAM Prospectus Competition entries! 🖼️ The student artwork reception will be held on March 8th. Sponsored by Blick Art Materials

Abbie Burge has been teaching art in Wood County, WV, for 20 years. As the Fine Arts Department Chair at Parkersburg South High School, she teaches Art 1-4, Advanced Placement art classes, coaches middle school volleyball, co-sponsors the Junior Class, and coordinates prom. In her spare time, Abbie loves teaching workshops for teachers, watercolor painting, and creating murals in her hometown.

The Chemours Company saw how much the community enjoyed the Point Park Concert series, so they are stepping up to help us out. Thanks to their generous donation, we will be holding all three Point Park Concerts again this year. The June and August concerts will feature local groups and the July concert will have a tribute artist/group. Dates for the concerts are June 13, July 11, and August 8. More details to come.

Let us introduce you to Evie Schaffer! She’s one of the talented musicians performing at Artoberfest on Saturday, October 14th. Music brought to you by Munoz Law Office! 🎨🎸 Evie is 17 year old Parkersburg native about to graduate cosmetology school, all while performing at local venues. We enjoyed her cover of “Country Roads” so much that we nicknamed her Janice Denver. Get here early on October 14th because she’s our opening act, starting at 5pm! The Parkersburg Art Center is an elegant, versatile, and unique venue, with lots of room, no restrictions on your choice of caterer, and plenty of available parking for your guests. When you book your event at the Parkersburg Art Center, you don’t just get a facility....you get an event that’s a work of art!

A wedding, a corporate event, a reunion -- whatever sort of occasion you are planning for -- can be a very exciting time, but also a time full of decisions to be made. One of the biggest decisions you’ll make in your planning is “WHERE?” You’ve come up with your budget and an idea about the number of participants. Now there are some questions you should ask yourself while deciding about the location for your event:
