When are final guest count numbers due to your vendors?

This can vary slightly depending on the vendor but here is a general line up for you!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Caterer: 30 days
Floral: 30 days
Venue: 2-3 weeks
Dessert: 30 days
Rentals: 30 days
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Remember estimated guest count is a starting point and what the proposals will be based on but your count will more then likely go down.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Final payment is effected by final guest count. So when giving numbers initially for proposals don’t go under your total! It will be less of a sticker shock later if you end up closer to your original count.

🧡 FLORAL BUDGET 🧡 💰

Having a specific number or budget in your brain is great but make sure to be open when going into a meeting. Most couples have big eyes but then see the price tag and get discouraged.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So here’s a few tips:
1. Be honest with your florist about the budget or give them a range!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Try to remember that if your budget is lower that you can highlight the areas heavily photographed with floral (ceremony, head table, photobooth, etc)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. If your in love with specific type of flower put it in your bouquet but not every centerpiece if that bloom $$$ (this can vary depending on the time of year)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Be open to letting the florist design for you with your mood board and must haves in mind (hint it can turn out like the photo above)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Come prepared with items you don’t like if you feel overwhelmed with items you do like (this will help make design suggestions while in a meeting)
