Tips on bustling your dress! 🤍 Send to a bride to be!!

1. Take someone with you to your fittings! They can learn from your seamstress how to bustle.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Take a video! Send it to the party group as well as your planner!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Bring a crochet hook! We provide one in the emergency kit but it doesn’t hurt to have an extra on hand. This will help if anyone has any long nails it can be difficult to get the bustle over the button!

💍 GLAM ON THE BIG DAY? Let’s talk timing! 💄💇‍♀️

Wondering how long you’ll need for hair and makeup? Plan on setting aside about 45 minutes per service per person—that’s roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes total per person to achieve that flawless look.

Pro tip: If your bridal party has more than 4 people getting styled, it’s a game-changer to bring in 2 stylists for each service. It speeds things up and keeps the morning running smoothly.

And don’t forget—having a schedule mapped out for the morning? Lifesaver, especially if it’s an early start! Keep everyone’s beauty routine stress-free and fabulous.

As we go throughout the process of booking your vendors for the big day here’s my first question I always ask after a meeting!

While budget, style, and process are VERY important! If you don’t get along or feel a connection then it’s probably not meant to be.

2. Thanksgiving is my fave during the holiday season because of both of my grandmas cooking.

-Does the venue allow it??? Sometimes petals can stain concrete or create a challenge for animals around the area!

-What is the clean up protocol??? Make sure to have a plan in place with the planner and venue.

-Have the officiant make an announcement during the ceremony!

-Make sure to take weather info consideration

Are you struggling to stay within budget for decor, floral, or rentals??? 💐 🪑 🤯

Here are some items that are heavily photographed and where the larger portion of the above should go!

-The couple: This sounds obvious but I’m talking about where you will be throughout the day and what your holding/ what’s on you! So don’t skimp on the getting ready details! 😉
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-Ceremony: Dress it up and over do it but make sure you can reuse it! Most ceremonies only last about 30 minutes these days so make sure you can reuse items for behind the head table or a photo op for guests!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-Head table: Once again this is where a couple of high ticket items happen. Dinner, Toasts, etc…So add chargers or colored napkins to just this table!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-RSVP or family tables: these typically tend to be towards the front so make them more of a statement while keeping the rest of the tables more simple. Especially if you have a high guest count!

-Photobooth: If creating a selfie station make sure to put a little more into it! This will be a frequent stop for guests and you with guests. Try a neon sign or a fun floral install with a cutie couch.

LET’S CHAT TIMELINES ⏰
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Man they can be confusing and overwhelming if you don’t even know where to start! Here are some tips to help build your wedding day timeline:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Ask hair/makeup how long it will take to complete
2. Have your photographer arrive 45-60 minutes prior to completion of HMU.
3. Make sure to include travel times between getting ready location, ceremony, photo locations, and reception
4. Talk to your planner and photographer before selecting a ceremony time!
5. Include sundown time and set your sunset photo time 45 minutes prior.
6. Place all reception formalities 30-45 minutes after dinner or knock a couple out after grand entrance! Have more questions???
