We’re pushing forward over here anxiously awaiting our liquor license transfer 🍺

As anxious as we are to open, we know the importance of being patient and doing things right…so we’ve turned this “delay” into an opportunity to get some work done. New stainless steel sheets to protect the walls in the kitchen, hand-laying thousands of individual quarry tiles, and making much-needed repairs to the infrastructure of this building so we can focus on the important part…YOU and your experience while you’re here 🫶🏼 HUUUUGE shoutout to Kenny, Sheila, Joe, and Josh who have been workin their butts off with us. It is abundantly clear to us how much this place means to them and we’re so proud to have them with us going into this next chapter 🫡

A floor so clean you could eat off of it 🤤

We picked up our first two pallets of quarry tile yesterday, got it all unloaded and staged, and now it’s getting laid with a quickness 😮‍💨 Dino and Ozzy have done hundreds of floors and we’re stoked to see the final product 🤩

Shout out to RiverWalk bartenders Joe and Josh who stepped up to help with the dirty work and learned how to mix cement and lay tile today. They show up on-time ready to learn and help with great attitudes, and don’t leave till all the work is done…already exemplifying our core values 🫡

15 outdoor tables sold so far, message us/swing by m-f while we’re on-site to pick some up 🙌🏼

Yesterday we brought The RiverWalk gang to Bethlehem to brew some beer!

Josh got to show them how we brew Orange Skies and where our award-winning beer comes from.

After the brewing we did some beer training and got everyone up to speed on the beers that we’ll have on tap in Parryville 🍺

We’re so proud of the team stepping up and taking the initiative to expand their knowledge 🙌🏼

We’re still doing a TON of renovations while we wait for the liquor license to transfer and we’ll be good to go. Should be by March. Stay tuned for more updates as we turn this dream into a reality 🫡

It’s done, but just beginning 🙌🏼

The past 3 months have FLOWN by. We are officially the new owners and operators here at The RiverWalk.

Everyone came to the table to navigate past challenges and make a clear and common sense path forward. I want to thank all of the town officials and council members, zoning and code officers, lawyers, our realtor Aaron Clouser, our accountants, engineers and architects, the Carlino family, my family, all our staff at Seven Sirens, the staff at The Pizza Joint, and all of our new staff that we can’t wait to work with going forward.

This project has already tested us in ways we didn’t know existed. We’ve learned A LOT. We’re still learning A LOT.

We’re trying to push through the transfer of all the licensing so we can open back up as soon as possible. Everything somehow ends up more complicated than we expect but we’re anticipating welcoming you all back by the end of February.

We’re already putting into motion plans to excavate and repair the stone flooring outside around the fire pits and outdoor bar to make it safer, handicap accessible, and easier to clean/maintain. The floor and seating outdoors should be done before spring, pending everything go to plan, but we’re used to life NOT going according to plan so we’ll just keep pushing forward.

We look forward to working with all our new friends in the Parryville Council and Code Enforcement to finish up the second floor deck and finish the upstairs, turning it into a beautiful event space and dining room overlooking the property and river.

We’ve taken everything off the shelves and walls to give the entire building a DEEP clean. We intend to donate everything to a local charity or fire department for fund raising, more details on that soon.

Growing up enjoying The Riverwalck, it’s just an absolute honor to be a part of this historic property and to be a part of your community for years to come.

We’re going to continue updating everyone as much as we can. Please be patient as we work towards reopening and all of the projects ahead. It’ll be worth it. We promise.

What went up, must come down 🙌🏼 We’re deeeeeep cleaning while we continue to work towards a re-opening date. We’re aiming for the middle of February.
