EXCITING AND NEW!! ✨💃🎭 Looking for another opportunity for your Dancer to perform at The R***e? Then sign up to be in our new Opening Number Routines! 🎶🔥

An opening routine is a way for us to kickstart the energy of the show for each R***e cast! This routine will be open to dancers ages 6 and up participating in the R***e. The dancers will be learning new choreography specific for this routine, therefore rehearsals will be mandatory. There will be casted sections in each opening number.

Each cast will have a different opening number! 🌟 All R***e dancers ages 6 and up may participate in either or both opening numbers.

🩷 Cast 1 - Sunday 4/27 @ 10am - 12pm
💜 Cast 2 - Sunday 4/27 @ 12pm - 2pm

📆 Rehearsal Dates:
✨ CAST 1: 5/16 (6-8pm) | 6/2 (5-7pm) | 6/6 (5-7pm)
💫 CAST 2: 5/23 (6-8pm) | 6/3 (5-7pm) | 6/6 (5-7pm)

Participation Fee:
🔥 Early bird (by April 7): $30 per cast / $50 for both casts
⭐ By April 19: $50 per cast / $75 for both casts

Patrick Adiarte is a Filipino-born American theatre, film, and television dancer & actor. He is considered to be one of the greatest dancers to have graced both the stage and screen. Adiarte began his career on Broadway as a dancer in the original cast of “The King and I” and would later play the role of “Prince Chulalongkorn” in the 1958 film version. He had a similar trajectory with his Broadway and film performances of “Flower Drum Song” (1961), playing the role of Wang San, a role in which he is greatly remembered for. Additionally, Adiarte was a regular on the dance variety show “Hullaballoo.” Some of his other TV credits include “The Brady Bunch,” “Hawaii Five-O,” and “M.A.S.H.” amongst others. Since performing this number Virginia Wing and Patrick Adiarte have remained close friends. Wing shared “I met Patrick Adiarte when he was 17, the shyest guy I’d ever met, and he immediately became like a little brother to me. In fact, he gave me away when I got married! For years he’d wanted to pair ‘Gotta Dance’ and ‘I Won’t Dance’ into a song-and-dance duet with me, and we finally got our chance on the ABC TV variety show, ‘Show Street,’ starring Phyllis Diller.”
