"For any patrons wondering what happened to the immature Cooper's hawk that was temporarily housed at the aviary, here's your answer: he was successfully released back into the wild!"

We've got some awesome events coming up this spring and summer!

Ranger Fallon got some beautiful sunrise photos this morning. The eagles were posing for her.

Oh my goodness Ranger Fallon just sent us this video of a monarch butterfly emerging from its cocoon! Such a beautiful thing to see! Stop by the visitor center to see them in person.

Park visitor Dustin Dodson shared these with us saying: "I want to share with you something that you don't see every day. This is two male Broad Head Skinks battling for a female which was just off to the right and out of view of my camera." Pictures in comments!

One of our members had a video of our park made. We think it turned out wonderful!
