This greenhouse is such a dreamy space, and a perfect location for sweet, intimate events ✨🌿

The bride-to-be was celebrated amongst wildflowers which couldn’t be a more perfect choice for the setting!

The magic is in the mix ✨

IMO, it’s all about color and feels—that’s how you tease out the style of an event through flowers.

Bloom recipes are one of the best parts of the job, and while I decide what blooms to order way in advance, it’s given me great joy to check in with local growers to see what’s cookin’ in their fields and gardens the week of an event.

For this fiesta, it added the *chef’s kiss* 👌

‘Bout to spice up your feed 🔥

Sporadic rain was no match for this vibrant fiesta! The clouds didn’t stand a chance against this colorful backdrop but more so, the amazing hosts celebrating with their friends and family 🧡

Utilizing local blooms from to compliment market choices, there was also no floral foam used throughout 🌼

Being on the water this past weekend was a reminder of why I am so drawn to a blue and white color palette.

S + J’s bridal party wore a perfect mix of dusty and navy blues, and blooms of soft cream and pale blue were held or worn by all.

Lush, garden-inspired centerpieces of peonies, roses and ranunculus with sweet touches of veronica, stock, lisianthus and English ivy. We collected blue and white bowls for a peak of the classic pattern.

Today’s beautiful wedding encompassed so much of what I always dreamed of doing in my 17 years as a florist: the location, the planner, the couple. The local growers for severely blooms, the sustainable methods used, the color palette, the careful thrifting.

The garden is exploding and I can barely keep up with all the new daily blooms!

The peonies are GIVING, as are the roses. And foxgloves. And snaps. It obviously called for THE most extra arrangement possible!

This week has been a very, very busy one in all the good ways—wedding prep for Saturday, inquiries, appointments, proposal write-ups…

Today will be a bit slower filled with halo making and finishing work, and tidying up the hurricane that has become my house while I’ve been busy ✨🤍

Things are about to get busy ‘round here. May is jam packed with beautiful events, the kids have all their end-of-year activities—it’s going to be a marathon.

Since the back patio still resembles a junkyard, I’ve been prepping beds now while I can, and naturally, planted out some hardened-off seedlings, just in time for a…frost 🥴 Cool!

On the plus side, the trilliums are multiplying each year, as is the Lily of the Valley 🌱 gardening: ya win some, lose some; literally.

I never gave daffodils much thought until recently, and had no idea how much range they offered with color, bloom time, fragrance and size. They naturalize easily and the deer hate them. They offer a long vase life, can survive windy days and downpours.

They also happen to be the birth flower of both my children (Narcissus for December and Daffodil for March), so naturally I began planting them anywhere and everywhere, in all the beautiful varieties I could find.

These collections will continue growing, with an emphasis always on used/vintage finds. Everything available is strictly flower-driven, meaning I won’t ever be offering additional props or services unless they pertain to me putting flowers in or on it (the only except here are candles!)☺️

My brain is officially in wedding mode; final proposal-flower ordering-supply stocking-ribbon matching-candle counting-mode. I visibly grin on the daily at the absolutely amazing weddings coming down the pike—I only wish I was a cool reels-maker for the BTS (I’ll try, I make no promises).

::Did you know:: Milk glass was a florists go-to vessel, mostly through the 1950s and ‘60s?

I’ve been working on photographing all of my rentable inventory, which includes a large eclectic mix of timeless milk glass in just about every pattern and style you can find it in!

I will be updating my website soon with all of my many collected items that are perfect for events of all kind. I love the idea of offering these for “borrow” as it not only gives them new life, but also reduces what winds up in the landfills 💚
