Preserve your wedding bouquet! So I forced myself into another DIY project and ended up being pretty good at it.

After researching floral preservation while planning my own wedding, I realized that the cost of preserving my bridal bouquet would probably cost me my marriage (lol)! So far, I've preserved bouquets for lots of friends and family, and now I take care of strangers' bouquets as if they are my own. If you are looking to preserve a bouquet, contact me. I love getting to preserve such a special piece of the big day.

One of the special parts about my projects is that I color all flowers so they keep their color over time. I will never charge extra for this part because it’s a must for floral preservation. Coloring everything makes my process slower, but in 5 years, natural flowers will fade and mine won’t because of this process. You’ll be happy you waited a little extra to have vibrant colors for always 🥰 I’ve been preserving for 16 years now! Promise it’s worth the wait 🤍

Today is DTTB’s Angel Baby’s annual vigil. In 2016, the first angel baby’s flowers came into my shop and opened my eyes and heart to my own small way to be kind and make a difference by offering free floral preservation to families who have lost a child. Recent brides this month have most likely seen Cole’s cake plate, Lola’s butterfly, Kaiden’s birdies, Ryan’s and Luca’s shadow box with pictures on display floating among the happy flowers. The angels are everywhere, in the shop, in my life, on my mind, and in my heart. (To note, they wait even longer than you do for their flowers, no need for nasty comments about priorities, which yes, I have gotten). To me, all these bridal and angel projects are love - my way of capturing moments and preserving lives. But there is no greater project of love than today. I step away from the shop for one day to summon the good of the world and angels from the other side to believe in something more important than ornaments and presents. I believe. 🕯️🔔 52,600 candles. 624 angels. Hoping for hundreds of volunteers. Shorefront Park, Patchogue 5-10 pm Volunteers report at noon for setup, 10 for cleanup.

Memorial tray ⛅️ When we got back from a family vacation last year, my niece found out her friend lost her dad…working on a few more surprises for them - but this is for their home, so dad’s tropical flowers can always be there.

Spent a long weekend in the mountains with my boys and back to flower appointments today. I’ll sift through emails tonight and get back in the groove.
