When you visit The Brownstone, it might be hard to believe that this beautiful estate started as an uninhabitable old brownstone with no electricity or water. It was originally built in the 1800s, with the kind of craftsmanship that you just don’t find anymore. Grand fireplaces, foot-thick walls, and a storied past gave former owners Rita and Tom a glimpse at the potential the house could have. Th

ey renovated the home, preserving the authentic colonial features like the hand hewn beams and open fireplaces. They opened the estate to the public, and quickly gained a reputation for drinks and grilled cheese sandwiches. Over the years, people who loved The Brownstone began requesting for party facilities to host events on the beautiful estate. What started as a small neighborhood bar now hosts beautiful weddings, parties, and banquets, pairing extraordinary catering with the ideal east coast ambience.

To all our valued customers, as we anticipate the governor allowing us to reopen soon we begin to transition back to a new normal. Friday June 26th will be our last day for our curbside pick up and delivery menu. We want to thank all who have supported us for the past 3 months. During the most challenging time in our 75 year history. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Brownstone in the very near future
