We are heart broken today as we face saying goodbye to our last of the “Co-Op Gas beagles.” Cheech (the smaller one) passed in 2021. Lola, we are saying goodbye to today. Both beagles have been a huge part of our office for the last 15 years. If you’ve ever called and thought you heard howling/barking over the years, they were the culprits❤️

The owners of Co-Op Gas Inc (Balloon Country)led a successful mission trip to feed the community and National Guard at Ingles-Black Mountain, NC today! Donations as well as hot home-cooked meals were handed out by Bikers Against Hunger (Union, SC) & Rally Point Biker Church (Pauline, SC) volunteers. It is because of all the these volunteers (in person and those that sent donated food) as well as our friends at Ingles Markets for giving them the space to serve that made this possible! While our own town has managed to get back to some normalcy, this will not be the case for so many that lost not only everything they own but loved ones as well. It will be a long time before they can begin to truly heal. Our prayers continue to be with WNC and TN!!

Our office has power! We will have a skeleton crew part of the day tomorrow (Friday) and plan to resume normal hours Monday next week. Please be aware…there will likely be shipping delays with UPS due to so many roads being inaccessible in neighboring states. Please think ahead before you order and give extra time for this! We appreciate your patience!

🌀Hurricane Helene has caused incredible devastation to our town in Spartanburg, SC and widespread power lines/trees down. This is unlike anything our city has ever seen before. We have been struggling to find gas, propane, even food and water during these tough times. However, we are blessed compared to Western NC. Please keep your thoughts and prayers with them. If you would like to help, there are many organizations accepting donations to help.

We have had some very upset about orders placed prior to this. We are so sorry as we did not have any real warning that we would be hit this hard. There are still many power outages all over. As soon as our power comes back on (and we also have running water), we will reopen immediately! Any orders customers placed will be contacted and cancelled if they no longer need the order. For our helium/decor side, we will have to assess the conditions of roads before we can make the trip out to you.

Please bear with us! Our staff is so well known for shipping orders the MINUTE we receive them most of the time. This is completely out of our control. ❤️ to all of you in surrounding areas!
