I never thought I'd find a ceramic Christmas tree at the thrift store but a few days ago it happened!
Found it while thrifting with my new boyfriend. He saw me run and squeal with delight over finding it.
It's huge! 17" I think. It was just sitting on the Goodwill floor waiting for me. Only a couple minor chips.

It took decades to thrift all of these vintage alarm clocks. Some work, others just look pretty, but as a collection they bring me such joy.
I’m just wondering which one is the most attractive to other people.
I would be very grateful to see how the folks in this group would grade them 1-5, with #1 being the best. The choices can be based on color: Y (yellow), P (purple), G (green), R (red), B (blue).

I saw this a few weeks ago at our local Goodwill. While out running errands I decided to stop just to see if it was still there because I realized I had to have it.. I knew it was a long shot with all the resellers cleaning the place out every week, but thankfully it was still sitting on a shelf. 😌
This is one of the most beautiful brass pieces I personally ever come across at a thrift store.

OK so today is the day I almost cried while I was out garage sale shopping. 😁
I found this amazing vintage color wheel at one of our stops. 🤩
They had lots of newer Christmas items around and I picked though everthing hoping for a vintage find. Then I saw a brown box up high and thought I better check that too because you never know. 😂
I could not belive my eyes. I pulled out a small box and it was a color wheel that I need for my vintage Aluminum Pom Pom tree. Yippee. The search is over. I've been looking for two years.
My tree is going to look amazing with this shining brightly on it. The spinner works too.

ThriftFest UpCycled

To all artists, visitors, partners, vendors, volunteers and contractors.

We are upcycling and repurposing this year’s Festival of Thrift in response to 2020… an extraordinary year full of unforeseen challenges and hardships for all of us.

After weeks of careful consideration we have come to the decision, along with our great friends and partners at Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, that holding a large-scale festival in Kirkleatham will not be possible this year.

However, although our Festival of Thrift event scheduled to take place in Kirkleatham on September 12 and 13 2020 has been officially cancelled, in our true thrifty style, we will instead be going ahead with a repurposed Festival that has had a socially distanced makeover for 2020.
