T W O Y E A R S.

How has it been two years?! It seems like just yesterday we were opening our doors for the first time. I remember waiting for our first customers and saying to “I would be so happy if just ONE customer came in. That would be amazing!” and then the first customer walked in, and the second, and the third…

Three customers turned into more than 1000, and as I write that, I’m realizing how truly honored I am to have this business, in the town that I love SO much.

But, business owning is not without its ups and downs. It’s not easy. Sometimes, things don’t work! Sometimes, a product gets to your store and you’re so incredibly excited about it, and no one cares. 😂 Sometimes, people are too afraid to come into your shop, so they don’t stop! Sometimes, you feel like quitting and closing and going back to your 9-5 job that was a guaranteed paycheck.

I have felt all of those things. I wanted to quit SO many times. But then, I remember all of the amazing parts - popping up downtown and in other surrounding communities, creating tribute arrangements for funerals and loved ones, celebrating birthdays and milestones with all of you… in a town that I LOVE. That’s what this adventure is about, and I wouldn’t give that up for anything. 🌷

This week, our shop has a *bit* of an access issue due to construction on Route 9 at the corner of Market and Patton (right by my shop). Since y’all won’t be able to get to me, I’m coming to YOU! Look out for details tomorrow!!
