We were in the middle of dinner when we got a notification that someone was at our front door. It was our fainting goats. My husband then proceeded to scare the ever living life out of them. Who needs landscapers when you have goats. Jk. I still need to mowe my lawn. And pull weeds. But here’s a super cool fact. Goats eat the tops of invasive plants before they eat the rest of the stock. And that is to prevent seeds from spreading. #themoreyouknow #goats #weeds

My dogs eat apricots and they love them. I still have some left if you want some. I know that Smiths sells them for $6 a pound and they’re green. Mine are ripe and $3 a pound. When you come to pick, you can eat as many as you want before you fill your bucket. :) #utah #utahfarm #upickfruit

This is Betty. She has been part of the family for 4 years. Lays great big white eggs that are delicious. She loves to scratch and eat snacks- like this apricot. Her job on the farm is to eat as many bugs as possible. And eat all the scraps I give her. She brings a lot of joy to our family. She is super skittish unless I feed her meal worms. My favorite thing about Betty is that when she goes broody, I find her eggs in very odd places. Which if you think about it, is kind of dumb since she can’t sit on all of them in the different places to let them hatch. My best pumpkin plant looked like it was foaming at the trunk. That isn’t a good thing. I want that trunk to be strong so the rest of the plant can too. Which then it can produce healthy fruit. If the trunk is damaged, the results of quantity and quality diminish. Pincher and squash bugs love to destroy your squash. If you’re a sprayer, go for it. If not, do what I did. There’s also a different option , I just didn’t want to go to the store 😂. You can sprinkle baking soda on and around your squash. I hope your gardens are thriving. 🤍 #gardening #gardenpests #squash
