WEDDING TIP #3: Scheduling Events On Your Wedding Day
When planning your wedding day, what events will you have and when? Here's some questions to answer. Will you have
1- Formal reception or daytime open house?
2- Luncheon or brunch after a morning ceremony with a send off following?
3- Reception the night before with a next day ceremony and luncheon?
4- Afternoon ceremony, family dinner, with a family celebration?
5- Family dinner with an twilight ceremony?
6- Early morning breakfast, ceremony, break during the day with an evening reception?
7- Ceremony, luncheon, week-long honeymoon with a reception after the honeymoon?
8- Elope….?

At Clarion Gardens, we have seen so many ways of treating the day, especially in the last several years, everything has been turned upside down and almost every wedding is treated
differently.
No one HAS TO do the traditional day (Utah tradition) of morning ceremony, lunch at 1:00 p.m., a receiving line reception, standing in a wedding line for two hours, first dance, throw the bouquet and run under an arch of sparklers, balloons or streamers.
If standing in a receiving line is not your thing, don't! Be different instead of traditional. Make it YOUR DAY!!!!! All in all, nobody cares how you decide to do your day, the people that matter to you most, will be there regardless.
Whatever you decide to do and in whatever order you decide to do it in, it is your wedding. BUT remember, it does involve family members. Please keep in mind traveling, booking flights for those living away.
Be flexible and understanding when someone just can’t make it if you decide to split up the ceremony day and reception day. They may be only able to attend one or the other, but it is ultimately your day.

Embrace the Beauty of Blended Blooms by Combining Real with Silk Flowers! 🌿
For whatever the reason, whether it be “out-of-season” flowers, cant find the right colors in a the flower that you really like, budget, or simply adding to the existing arrangement that might come with the facility that are already available, incorporating real and silk flowers together into your wedding decor is a fantastic choice. Why not use them as a base?
We do it all the time at our wedding venue, Clarion Gardens in Payson, UT. We have basic centerpieces available in colors of green eucalyptus, whites and creams that are great on their own, but could serve as a base that someone could add flowers to, adding the colors of the wedding making a great centerpiece.
Click on the video to see that about 1/3 of the flowers are silk combined with real flowers along, with greenery that made beautiful arrangements for the head and guest tables. They did a great job in mixing the textures and flowers that look great together.
