Regardless of your political affiliation, keep an eye out for an epic Balloon Drop at the DNC tonight! Last week we were honored to assist the Balloons by Tommy team in inflating 78 balloon drops to be hung from the ceiling of the United Center for a historic moment.

But there is so much more to this story…

Last week, in a remarkable show of solidarity, I was one of 55 balloon artists, including Treb Heining, who put our businesses on hold or trusted our teams, at a moment’s notice to travel to Chicago from 18 states and Canada.

Our mission was clear: to support our dear friend and respected colleague, Tommy, the owner of Balloons by Tommy and his husband Scott, as Tommy battles cancer. Tommy, who has long been a beloved figure in the balloon artist community, found himself surrounded by the love and support of his peers when he needed it most. Tommy represents everything that is good in this world and his light radiates far beyond his reach.

We joined forces to create the breathtaking balloon drops for the Democratic National Convention that will be seen tonight.

It was an emotional and inspiring week, and a move that made me appreciate my balloon family, even more. We love you, Tommy!!

We drove through Payson Canyon yesterday, and the leaves are already starting to turn! So, if you haven’t ventured up into the mountains recently, this week and next week is the PERFECT time.

It’s been 3 years now and even though it’s beautiful, it still makes me cringe a little.

Back in the fall of 2020, still in the thick of social distancing, Matthew set up this beautiful fall balloon arch for a wedding celebration.

It was puzzling at the time because he took all the precautions and yet, when we traced it back, it’s the only place it could have come from.

We were so fortunate to have relatively mild symptoms and fully recover! No permanent damage done.

So here’s your annual reminder. Keep sharing those beautiful fall moments 🍂🍁 but please don’t share those germs 🦠

Did you know our chiara wall rentals are fully customizable?

We customized our big wall with this fun little cutie phrase for this darling baby shower 🍊

These rentals are STURDY! Though this set up was outside, even the spontaneous thunderstorm couldn’t dampen this party.
