Very proud of these two ladies! ❤️

Yesterday, after 19 years of having our doors open, these two ladies brought to life for the first time a full Showcase with the work of all our competitive dancers, accomplishing it in an incredible timeline….well before our first competition.
It was their idea, their project, and this time, as a director I followed their lead.
They worked endlessly, staying up until crazy hours of the morning to make it happen. Sewing, painting, designing, marketing, planning, and their beautiful and amazing choreography pieces became alive on the stage making our students shine so brightly! At the end of the show, when we could see smiles all around and the satisfaction of a job well done, we welcomed new competitors to our MDS Company with a little tradition we have , and we got to do this on stage, which was special for those students and their families. Because of this, I didn’t make my usual “Thank you’s”to staff, helpers, venue.. So I want to express now my endless gratitude for these two incredibly hardworking girls - young women- who I am lucky to call my daughters.
Sofia, Cata: in the name of all dancers and their families and especially in mine, a gigantic THANK YOU for all your many efforts.
The Showcase 2025 was fantastic and your creativity and love for the craft were stamped in every moment of it. CONGRATULATIONS on the first one ever!!!!!!❤️

Thank you to the Larcom Theatre for hosting our upcoming FREE MOVIE SCREENING this Friday afternoon! Plenty of seating for vintage movie buffs and those that like campy Christmas movies.
Come dressed as a Martian or favorite Holiday character!
