Bringing to you all a “Wind Down Wednesday” - It is always a good time to recognize, unite, and celebrate and we have the perfect way to do it! A creative mixology class, of course, with a special touch! We recently planned a virtual mixology class for a client that in which each guest received a kit for the class complete with craft ice from Iced Cubed Hawai‘i delivered right to their own front door! Yes, hand crafted ice right to their front door! Guests were invited to tune in virtually to learn bar 101 basics, the process of “building” a cocktail, the concept of “shaking” as well as the reverse dry shake, how to properly stir a cocktail and ultimately how to make classic cocktails such as the Mojito, a whiskey sour with egg whites, and an old fashioned! The class was hosted by the talented and engaging mixologist Chandra Lam Lucariello featured in our video – just a short clip of the virtual mixer. Please inquire about a custom experience today!

New Rental Car Facility at Kahului Airport
Travelers to Kahului Aiport (OGG) on Maui will notice some new exciting changes. The new rental car area has opened, housing all rental car companies in the space space, making getting and returning your cars a breeze! A few fun facts about the new development:
- The $340M spent on the project came entirely from car rental customers, using no taxpayer dollars.
- A recognized green building certification program, the project will help save energy costs, reduce waste and increase indoor air quality, among other benefits, according to state Department of Transportation.
- The new free tram will relieve congestion by eliminating 25 shuttle buses that transport customers to various locations.
- The aesthetics of the new facility and surrounding upgrades have been praised, featuring plantation-style trains, an entrance water feature, open-air facility layout and a lobby train clock.
This improvement will help streamline your traveling, and make it a smooth visit, coming and going. We look forward to welcoming you and your group to Maui!

Happy Aloha Friday! The Hawaiian word of the week is Kuleana or Responsibility.
Corporate Social Responsibility is so much more than a buzz phrase. It’s an opportunity and kuleana to care for this place that we call home and attract visitors to.
Kanani and Linda joined a group of community minded industry people for a huaka‘i (excursion) to Paepae O He‘eia, organized by the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau last Friday, November 22nd. Paepae o He’eia is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to caring for He‘eia Fishpond located in He‘eia, Koʻolaupoko on the island of O‘ahu. The goal is to manage and maintain this ancient fishpond, which was built more than 800 years ago, for the community. It’s kuapā (wall) completely encircles the fishpond and is the longest in the islands measuring an estimated 1.3miles. During this hands-on educational experience, volunteers applied the concept of “ma ka hana ka ‘ike,” to learn by doing. Tasks included hauling pails of coral that is used to restore the fishpond wall and removing bark from the mangrove trees which are used to construct the various hale around the fishpond and is also sold locally to help fund the program. Staff assisting the crew shared knowledge and practices that were used by the ancient Hawaiians to build and care for the fishponds. Mahalo HVCB and Paepae o He‘eia, we can’t wait for the next one!
