It’s and I have PROFESSIONAL IMAGES to post! Just makes my heart sing!

I always tell people, “Have the wedding you’d like to have. The wedding that will make you all happy.” I say that because we all have different desires and dreams of what of big day will be!

EVERYTHING about the Orr Wedding was well thought out and intentional. From beginning to end. The songs, the readings by special friends, the hand washing ceremony, the bold colors, and certainly the prayer petals! The invited guest and family were a joy! The parents of the couple were icing on cake!

A day like this day is the result of intention. How blessed are we to share in days like this! Where two people become one!

Our season opener… we knocked it out of the park!!! Even in the rain! Rain on any wedding day isn’t ideal, but I prayed for my couple the night before the wedding and LEANED NOT TO MY OWN UNDERSTANDING.

The rain was actually a great thing! The couple acquired beautiful clear umbrellas that added a special element to their wedding pictures! Something we don’t see all of the time definitely makes for amazing interest!

Mayia + Zachary were dream clients! They desired a pink and lavender base for their color palette and wanted a spring day look! The West allowed me to create a design for them and with little to no instruction and came to life on Sunday, March 12th 2023.

💍 Remember… you may not be able to set a budget if you don’t know the cost of the NECESSITIES or if you don’t start with a budget that will accommodate the NECESSITIES. If you set a budget that isn’t realistic; you’ll go over every single time for every single thing.

💍 The NECESSITIES are: venue, officiant, floral + decor, photography, stationery, attire, coordinator and/or planner, food and beverage, cake and/or dessert, Dj and/or band.

💍 Be mindful of your numbers. The number of bridesmaids and groomsmen and the number of guest will ultimately drive your cost.

💍 While planning be true to you! It’s perfectly fine if you are Over the Top Tammy, In the Middle Mary, or Simple Dimple Suzy! It’s y’all’s day; have it y’all’s way!

Life’s most precious moments are to be celebrated in the way that you see fit! We couldn’t have been happier that the Hill family saw fit for Kellye Christian Floral + Event Design to design the graduation reception for their son! was created to be enjoyed by all and it truly was! All of the smiling faces and laughter in the room made for such a beautiful and joyous occasion. The final product was phenomenal as this event was filled with the work of all local vendors! We all know that Open Invitation Stationery Boutique is my all time favorite on the paper and acrylic side and I’m absolutely positive that it was a joy for her to create for her very own! It’s been a rough year with all of the many challenges that we’ve faced in our personal and business lives, but we made it!
