All Fridays in January are open, but we only have one weekend day left and that is January 22nd.

All Fridays in February are open and the only weekend day available is Feb 12th.

Welcome to 512 Derby Event Center!

We are located on the corner of Derby & 6th Street in Pekin, Illinois—Right next door to The Sweet Bean Coffee & Treats. 🥰

✨Frequently Asked Questions✨

🔸Our venue comfortably seats 42 people and is furnished with beautifully refinished wooden tables and chairs. (Linens are not provided but are not needed for our tables! They look gorgeous without them!)

🔸Our current rental rate is $75/hour with a 3 hour minimum on weekends (Friday-Sunday) and $55/hour with a two hour minimum for week days. (Monday-Thursday) Set up & tear down time need to be included in your reservation so please keep that in mind when booking. A $100 deposit is required to reserve your date.

🔸We do not have a kitchen, however we do have a small refrigerator for cold items that also includes a small freezer for ice. Two 6 foot tables are provided (linens not included) for food and we have ample outlets for crockpots near the tables.

🔸We allow food and desserts to be brought in from any outside source. The Sweet Bean would be happy to provide coffee, iced tea, water, and baked goods for your events as well. (Cups, sweetener, and creamer can also be provided by The Sweet Bean for an additional charge if requested in advance.) Alcohol is also permitted.

🔸 We have a podium, ladder shelf for gifts, easel, and photo backdrop stand that are all available for our customers to use during their events. The venue is also equipped with a Bluetooth speaker, 72” smart tv, and Wi-Fi are all also available for use at no additional charge.

🔸We are working on creating an online calendar to view availability. Until the calendar is finished, feel free to message, email ([email protected]), or call (309-885-2850) to inquire about booking.

Good Morning Friends!

I’m excited to share with you all that I will now be operating the event space, 512 Derby Event Center, located next door to the bakery! 😍

I can’t wait for this new endeavor and I am very grateful for my Dad and his wife Jennifer for giving me this amazing opportunity! 💕

With that being said—please keep us in mind for all of your event space needs! I will be making some updates to the page as well as working on an online availability calendar and making an FAQ post that will answer all of your questions! Keep your eyes out for those updates this weekend!
