Now that we’ve slowed down for a minute around here,
we’d love to give a MAJOR shoutout to this group of high school volunteers (Helena High students pictured) from various schools in Shelby County.
These students were here once a week during pumpkin season helping us to rid the patch of rotten pumpkins and setting out thousands more.
Sometimes their job was stinky and nasty (have you ever smelled a rotten pumpkin that’s been baking in the sun?!) but they were here every time we needed them with a work ethic that was unmatched.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, kids! Your work was top notch and we appreciate you tremendously!
