My quest to become a wedding officiant was brought about at a rehearsal, when a member of the wedding party said they attended a wedding recently and the officiant didn’t show up!! 😳😲 I vowed (no pun intended) to be ready at the helm if that should ever happen to any of my couples! I was blessed by being able to marry four of my couples during Covid, who had decided to postpone, but still wanted to get married on their original date! It was, and still is, the best feeling when I get to pronounce a couple officially married. 💕🌿🌱 💍

With plentiful outdoor venues, indoor accommodations, and invigorating group activities, Lakefalls is a place to find focus while being together. Whether the purpose of the stay is to celebrate a milestone or just to spend quality time with family, friends, or team members, Lakefalls provided a sanctuary for all who came. It provides a 250 acre private estate for guests. Diana & Isaku chose Lakefalls Lodge for their fall wedding weekend, as they had guests travelling from far and near. It not only provided them with the most picturesque wedding ceremony but also a very delightful fall foliage reception view which was blazing overlooking the lake!

Their ceremony was held within the front of the castle-like Walled Garden and their cocktail hour was enjoyed nearer to the beautiful and soothing waterfall.

Lakefalls only opens its doors to outside bookings for a few select weekends a year. Diana and Isaku were fortunate to snag a date after I highly recommended the space. I knew it would be the perfect location for their celebration.

The evening was wrapped up with the most fabulous fireworks display, as part of the weekend rental.

Working with Cathy and Stephen on their wedding plans and then being there to make sure it all came together was SO much fun. They had their priorities straight: they really cared about having a special event with their closest family and friends and a great party. All their ideas fell into place perfectly at The Cambridge Boat Club. Everything was just awesome in how it all came together.

It was an intimate wedding with friends and family who traveled from near and far to be with these two on their big day! Cathy and Stephen paid so much attention to detail, it was beautiful! I loved all their details. They had a slideshow, photo booth and their guest book was postcards. The fall vibe was carried throughout their decor!

It was such a pleasure working with you both. Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of this amazing time in your lives. It was so much fun to hang out with you all day, and I wish you both the very best!

Marc & Rachael

What a fun loving couple! These two partied the night away surrounded by friends and family.

Situated at Camp Cedardcrest in Orange, CT it was the PERFECT spot for a dreamy forest vibe for Marc and Rachael. So many gorgeous spots to capture all of the love and beautiful details that were a part of their special day. It was awesome for them to have the entire camp to themselves, surrounded by only family and friends. The stone amphitheater made for a beautiful ceremony site.

Marc and Rachael really brought their laid back vibe together with their food truck, a pretzel 🥨 station and a piñata 🪅 at the end of the evening.
