Tulips have arrived! 🌷 The first flowers of spring are blooming and you know what that means?! More beautiful flowers aren’t far behind! Soon I’ll be launching my bouquet subscriptions so be on the lookout because only a limited number will be offered! Not sure what a bouquet subscription is? Visit my website to find out more! 💐 #indianagrown #madisoncountyindiana #buylocal #supportsmallbusiness #flowerfarmer #pendletonindiana #tulips
Listen…the number of seeds I have is nothing compared to the number of seeds I DON’T have. Point of view, folks. 🙃
🌱I wanted to share a glimpse of my planning process and how I organize everything, or well, try to 😅 Pretty much comes down to reading the seed packet, figuring out dates to: start them inside (yes, I grow almost all my flowers from seed!), transplant out and plant in the ground. THEN write all those dates on my calendar for EACH FLOWER! It’s more fun than it sounds because it gets me so excited for the upcoming season!! Can you believe just this week I’ll be starting some flowers?!
🌱Stay tuned, it’s going to be a great year!
*Yes, that calendar does say 2023, BUT that’s because I’m using the one I made last year as a reference ✏️
Have you heard the exciting news?!!🌼
🌼There’s a new small business owner in town 🙋🏽♀️ I’m so excited to officially launch
✨Dirt and Lace Flower Co.✨
🌼 I know what you’re thinking, such a cool name but what is it? Well thanks for asking because it provides a nice transition for me to tell you 😉 Dirt and Lace Flower Co. offers farm fresh flower bouquets that are locally grown and arranged by yours truly just outside of Pendleton, IN.
🌼 Dirt and Lace Flower Co. has been over a year in the making and I can’t believe I finally get to share how my dream has bloomed into reality! I hope you’ll join me on this journey by following my business social media accounts, @dirtandlaceflowerco on Instagram and Dirt and Lace Flower Co. on Facebook, as I continuously grow (pun intended 😉) as a flower farmer.
🌼 Single bouquets will be available weekly on a first come first serve basis related to seasonal availability so be sure to follow on social media to not miss out! Want a guarantee of fresh flowers every week? Sign up for a 6 or 8 week subscription of bouquets delivered weekly to your home! More details on subscription services and how to enroll coming soon!
✨ Side note: Social media often glamorizes flower farming by only showing the finished product, which of course I will show as well, (after all, who doesn’t love gorgeous flowers?!) but I’ll also give you an inside look into all the dirty work and “learning experiences” it took to be proudly presenting you with my business today 🌻
