I snorkeled Crescent Beach in Branchport on Keuka lake, where it's most congested during the weekends. I was in the water for 40 minutes and all I found was a lighter, goggles, label and a strap. The water is only 3 foot deep, so it's easy to keep clean.

Great job, a clean Finger Lakes is a safe and beautiful Finger Lakes!!

Great job, a clean Finger Lakes is a safe and beautiful Finger Lakes!!

Last month Corning employees teamed up with Parks and Trails New York, New York State Parks, and the New York Department of Environmental Conservation to collect 33 bags of trash from the Catharine Valley Trail. This was part of a larger single-day effort to clean up state parks, historic sites and public lands across the state.

Great job!!!!

Count on us from Keller Williams Realty to participate on Sept. 18! We've been doing our Adopt-A-Highway cleanup for about five years now. It's my pet project. Our spot is the exit off I-86 near Lowes, across from the Arnot Mall. Believe me, that's a spot that gets a LOT of interesting trash because it's such a busy intersection. DOT, could you mow for us first?
