From the depths of our souls, Gayle Belcher Williams and I want to say THANK YOU to our Parrotheads, Neighbors, Muscians, and all our wild and crazy friends, for nominating Concerts On Canal for TRMA House Concert Venue of the Year again in 2024.

We believe that we win an award with every show we host as we watch the fans and the artists come together for the pure love and enjoyment of the music.....THAT is why we do what we do.

People, who are not familiar with House Concerts, ask all the time how much money do we make doing shows.....we just chuckle and tell them we are like multiple many thousands of dollars "in the hole" and we dig deeper everytime we do this. But it isn't about the money, it's about bringing people together in a common bond of what Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers instilled in us long ago. It's all about the lifestyle and the music that depicts that lifestyle so perfectly.

So THANK YOU for considering our venue for the TRMA award again this year. We are truly honored.

Combover Bill (our local Great Blue Heron buddy) arrived a day early for Concerts on Canal presents Barefoot Reggie Starrett with special guest, Jessie Ritter but he has one of the best seats in the house. Beautiful day, mid 80s, great breeze, just perfect.

Amazing concert yesterday with Erica Sunshine Lee and Justin Touchette. Multiple boats tied up on the dock. Yard and porch full of old friends and new ones. Dolphins swimming by, $5 million yachts crusing by, Great weather and great music.

Next show in July will Concerts on Canal presents Thom Shepherd with special guest Harold Boothe.

Turned out to be a great day at Concerts On Canal for Mike Nash and Christina Crystal. We dodged the rain while storms were all around in the Gulf and inland just North of us. Folks were able to sit in the yard and by the pool and enjoy the show. Seems like Jimmy was looking down and helped us "keep the party going."

Once again we had new folks come for the first time.....the family of Canalians keeps growing. Parrotheads from Panama City to Biloxi were here amongst or neighbors and friend from around the corner to around the country.

Short of a Hurricane, we won't ever get rained out here. Options to move under cover and inside are available. Thanks to everyone for coming out.

We want to send out a BIG Thank You to Jesse Rice and Justin Colvard for performing at Concerts On Canal this pas weekend. We also want to thank everyone for coming out to support the artists. Special thanks to the Pirateheads, Hellraizers, Emerald Coast Parrot Head Club, Pensacola Parrotheads, Panama City Parrot Head Club, and the Lower Alabama Parrothead Club for spreading the word and coming out to enjoy the music. We set a Concets on Canal record with about 150 folks in attendance.

Hey Concerts On Canal family, After the Jesse Rice show in April, we don't have a show scheduled in May but we highly suggest you plan to goto Lillian (just over the bridge) for a good time and great music.

Also, stay tuned for more info about Aaron Scherz playing at Gray's Patio and Rum Bar in Perdido Key in in June. Aaron is an amazing songwriter, you won't want to miss this opportunity as well.
