Online registration for parade and costume contests will end at 8pm tonight. We have around 20 swag bags left of the 300.

If you did not pick up your swag bag last night, you can pick it up at the Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare tent tomorrow from 11 to 3.

If you signed up for a costume contest, please plan to be at the stage by 12:50 tomorrow . Contest starts at 1, and there will be many reminders announced ahead of time.

Event starts at 11 and ends at 4. Full timeline of events can be found on top of the official map, posted on all official pages.

Important parking information for the 4th Annual Pensacola Paw-di Gras :
-Downtown parking is FREE on Sundays in all CITY/BLUE parking spots.
-red/green parking spots are private lots that charge 24/7. You can park there if you're willing to pay.
-there are parking lots charging to park all weekend due to Pensacon. These are NOT due to our event. You can park there, but we wanted to make sure everyone knew these lots were not set up for our event.
-we HIGHLY SUGGEST parking to the west of Garden Street and Palafox Streets and walking to the event space. Everything east of the closed down Garden Street between Tarragona and Palafox Streets will fill up fast due to Pensacon.
-as a reminder, Paw-di Gras is from 11 to 4 on a closed down Garden Street between Tarragona and Palafox Streets
-you can also park in the Jefferson Street garage and Intendencia garage.

Official pawrade route. As a reminder, these roads will NOT be shut down for the entire day, but our men and women in blue from the Pensacola Police Department will stop traffic from 2:30 to 3:30 along the parade route, as the dogs and their hoomans Strut their stuff down these roads! Please prepare for slight traffic delays.

Parade line up will start in front of the stage starting at 2. Parade starts at 2:30. Entire event time is from 11 to 4

Garden Street between Tarragona and Palafox Streets WILL be closed from 7:30 AM to 5PM on event day.

As a reminder, swag bag pick up is tonight from 6-8 PM at Perfect Plain Brewing Co. Simply tell us the name that you registered under at the table! If you are picking up for someone, please have their name as well. You can pick up the day of the event from the Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare tent, but we highly recommend picking them up tonight!

If you purchased the stainless steel Paw-di Gras cup, bring it tonight to use for a $1 off all beers from Perfect Plain. We will also have them and other Paw-di Gras merchandise available for purchase tonight.

We are currently at 251 of the 300 swag bags registered for, as of 9 AM on the 14th!

While we love ALL animals, we do ask that there are no livestock of any kind brought to the 4th Annual Pensacola Paw-di Gras . The streets are packed during this event, and we want to keep this annual event all about the dogs!

We've had a few people reach out because they were able to bring horses, goats, etc. To the Kids and Kritters Parade . Those amazing people who put on that event do it for all the kritters! The Paw-di Gras event is for the dogs, and with it being in downtown Pensacola, we have to abide by what our permit for downtown allows!

We appreciate all the love and support of our annual event, and we hope all animal lovers come out to enjoy the day with us!

We are so excited to once again have the K-9s from Pensacola Police Department and Escambia County Sheriff's Office at the event to help lead the parade again! The officers and their K-9s will be at the event to meet the public, and we appreciate all they do for our city. The Sheriff's office will also do another bite demonstration right before we line up for the parade, so don't miss this amazing demo on the stage that will be led by Chief Deputy Tommi Lyter

UPDATE: Ellie has been adopted!

Check out these two beautiful pups that will be featured during the adopt me Runway show part of the event. Skeeter and Ellie will be available for adoption from Friends of the Santa Rosa County Animal Shelter Santa Rosa County Animal Services

Skeeter
Hello everyone! My name is Skeeter and I am about 3 years old! I am a goofy girl looking my furever home! I love to run around outside and scoot around on the ground! I play great with other dogs too! If you need a fun dog in your life, then stop by the shelter to meet me!

Ellie
Hi there everybody! My name is Ellie and I am about two years old! I am a sweet shy girl who is looking for my furever home! I am super nervous here at the shelter but am learning more about the world! I do well with some dogs so I need to meet my future k-9 family members before going home! If you are interested in meeting me then swing by the shelter to visit!

Check out these two cuties that will be featured on the Adopt me Runway show at 4th Annual Pensacola Paw-di Gras . These two dogs are from the The Mylo Foundation and here is their information:

1. Bonnie - American Staffordshire Terrier : great with children, loves to be pet and loved on, sweetheart and gentle, loves everyone she meets and melts your heart with her big smile.

2. Brian Duke - Black Mouth Cur : good with other dogs and children, loves to be complimented, love bug and will talk with you, loves to cuddle..

Check out two of the dogs that will be featured during the Adopt me Runway portion at the 4th Annual Pensacola Paw-di Gras . These two dogs are available for adoption from the The Joy Committee. We are SHOCKED that Radar has not been adopted yet. He was featured at last year's Paw-di Gras, and is such an amazing dog! Read their bios below:

Gemma has come a long way from the pregnant young pup found dumped in a parking lot. Gemma has blossomed into an affectionate, loving, energetic lapdog who is looking for an active household where she will thrive! She would benefit from having another puppy buddy to play with, but does entertain herself independently when alone. Not destructive, but Gemma needs chew toys and bones to keep her occupied and engaged when her humans aren’t around. Daily walks and training are suggested for this ball of energy, but she is food and toy motivated so training is incredibly fulfilling! She tends to chase smaller animals, such as cats and squirrels, although she does not try to catch them. She is gentle with smaller dogs and children, but can be mouthy and wants play rough and tumble. She still has tons of puppy in her and is a total goofball who is wants to please every human she connects with! Gemma is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations.

Radar has been in our rescue for a year and a half and is ready to find his forever home! We featured Radar at last year's Paw-di Gras but unfortunately his new family still hasn't found him yet.

Radar is a 4-5 year old super mutt! He’s a very good boy who loves everyone and he just knows that everyone loves him, too! He gets along with other dogs and loves to play. But he won’t turn down a good nap on the couch. He hasn’t been around cats but loves to chase squirrels outside so a house without cats would be perfect. Radar is potty trained, crate trained, knows how to sit, shake, down and roll half way over. He’s microchipped, up to date on his shots, is neutered, and is heartworm negative. Take Radar on trial and see if he might be a good addition to your family!

UPDATE: we've worked with jotform and the glitch is fixed. If you attempted to submit the form last night, and were getting the error message, you may show pending donations in your bank. Those will NOT go through, as the forms did not finish. If you did not get a thank you screen pop up after making your donation, your form didn't go through. You can complete them now. We apologize for any confusion this has caused. This wasn't on our end!
