We had a very special guest this afternoon, a dear friend of our Historic facility.
Dropping by to donate some old photos of where it all began more than 5 decades ago.
59 years to be exact since they broke ground on the showroom. Opening just a few short years later Second Chance became the hotspot just outside of town for all things from live music to private banquets.
Guests tell us they would drive what would feel like forever through the rural countryside and suddenly see the old barn lit up in the middle of nowhere.
Times have changed, they paved that old stagecoach route and we certainly aren’t the only business out here anymore but the building and its mission haven’t changed. We still are able to provide a wonderful setting for everything from live music and weddings to non for profit fundraisers and even a few churches now have called the venue home.
Thank you for your support and ongoing love for one of Peorias oldest venues 🙂
