💕What an incredible event! It truly reminded us of the importance of adapting in the event business. 💕

Originally, we had planned to set up on the terrace at the country club, with beautiful flowers individually hung under the umbrellas to create a stunning flower shower effect.

However, when we woke to temperatures soaring over 100 degrees, along with a heat index warning, everyone involved agreed that we needed to move the event indoors.

In just a few hours, our team whipped up a fresh floral design using the original products we had ordered. We pulled it all together and delivered a fabulous event that exceeded expectations!

🔸 Native to South Africa, protea is one of the oldest known flower species — dating back over 300 million years.
🔸They thrive in California's Mediterranean climate. Specifically, San Diego County is a major growing center for these flowers
🔸 Each bloom is a textural masterpiece, often used as a focal point in modern or tropical arrangements.
🔸 It has an incredible vase life — often lasting 2+ weeks, and dries beautifully for reuse in installations.

We can only imagine the laughter that would ensue before we switched into work mode! Our first step would be to call in a crew to discreetly address it for a few hours with the church, ensuring the bride has no idea until it’s all sorted out!

Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸 to all of our customers! Enjoy an arrangement we did a few years ago for the Peoria Riverfront Museum.
We had an image created of the museum and used florals to create a firework display above it. We loved this piece and hope you do too!
