As an Event Host at FFC's Life Together Center, you’ll be the friendly contact for event organizers, coordinating with vendors and ensuring the space stays tidy from setup through cleanup. You’ll check in with groups hourly, giving you a great mix of active tasks and downtime. Event Host/Hostess Position for Life Together Center
Job Summary:
The Event Liaison is present at an LTC event to handle guest services, coordinate vendors and logistics, problem-solve, and if needed, call for emergency responders. This role involves working with event coordinators, vendors, and guests to create positive experiences. It requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and may involve standing for long periods and moving equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting Event Contacts.
Welcome event contacts and provide assistance.
Answer questions about space and amenities.
Direct event contacts to locations and facilities as needed.
Vendor Coordination.
Coordinate with caterers, decorators, and entertainers.
Communicate with vendors to ensure event specifications are met.
Setup and Cleanup.
Handle last-minute setup needs, such as arranging furniture and equipment.
Keep event areas clean and organized before guests arrive.
Assist with post-event cleanup and storage.
Managing Logistics.
Assist with parking, traffic flow, and crowd control.
Monitor events for safety and compliance with LTC rules.
Address issues that arise during events.
Problem Solving and Emergencies.
Resolve issues efficiently and stay calm under pressure.
Call for assistance in the event of an emergency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Basic knowledge of event planning and safety.
Ability to lift and move tables and chairs (up to 40 lbs.) and stand for extended periods.

In just 3 short weeks, the amazing crew of volunteers has transformed the entire LTC into a wonderful treasure hunt (rummage sale) I've had a delightful time chatting with volunteers and hearing their stories and witnessing their passion for this event. Everything has gone so smooth and I couldn't be happier in my first rummage sale experience at the LTC. Thanks to all the people who donate, work, volunteer shop and pray for this event. In awe at how this dedicated community comes together to put on such a fabulous fundraiser!
