I have to say, girls birthday parties are probably my favorite thing. This girls Birthday was a success! The original plan was to do a GLAMPING party at the camper full of swimming, a LUXE picnic and a sāmores bar. Unfortunately, the high chance of rain made us change our plans & move it to LUXE.
Being there was no lake to keep the girls occupied, very last minute I had to come up with some activities to keep the girls occupied. I decided to get a piƱata: this is something the Birthday girl really wanted, but was not going to happen at the camper. This kept these girls occupied and they had so much fun! I also picked up some things for the girls to make their own bracelets & dreamcatchers. It may surprise some people, but I am not crafty, at all, so I was pretty impressed with how the dreamcatchers turned out!
I kept the food simple with mac & cheese and a kids charcuterie board(a few of Starlingās favorite foods). I set up the LUXE picnic inside and it worked perfectly!
I do my best to buy favors that wonāt only be used once and thrown away, so I went with the adorable little silk bathrobes and sleep masks. I filled the piƱatas with fruit snacks and a scrunchie for each girl!
Here are few money saving tips:
- Keep the guest list small. This is hard for me because I like to include everyone, but we originally had planned a small party because of safety reasons with being at the lake. I realized how much less I had to spend on favors, food and all the things with only having 6 little girls!
- Use things you already have you decorate. I may have a few more items at my disposal than the average person, but I pulled the āyou were born to sparkleā sign, throw pillows and rug from the birthday girls room.
- When in doubt, add balloons. Balloon garlands are a relatively inexpensive and add A LOT to every party.
A few stress saving tips:
- Have your party at LUXE
- Whether at LUXE or another location, hire me to design your next party. :)
