Now entering my storefront era…
I’m pleased to announce that I have purchased the local flower shop in Perry, formerly known as Recollections by Lynn. I am so excited for this new endeavor and I can’t wait to see how the Lord continues to bless this business. Downtown Perry, here I come! Lanier Hays Design soft opening January 6, 2025. We will be taking orders for flower deliveries and pickup, just please mind our mess as we create something new in this space! We’ll also be hosting a couple decor and wedding item sales in the month of January to make room for all the new! Grand opening and ribbon cutting will be on February 5 from 2-3PM where the shop will be stocked with goodies, giftables, and flowers, of course. We can’t wait to serve you, Perry! You have all supported me so much in my weddings and events, so I cannot wait to see all of your sweet faces in the shop!

Yesterday, an old coworker sent me a screen shot from 7 years ago. I had made and sold my first ever Thanksgiving centerpiece. I wish I could find a picture of it! Over the past 7 years, I’ve made and sold many, many Thanksgiving centerpieces.
Today is a day of reflection on how grateful we are for all of our many blessings. This year, I have much to be grateful for. I’m grateful for my sweet clients who trust me with their vision. I’m grateful for the growth my little idea of a flower business has experienced. I’m grateful for the support I have received from my little community here in Perry, and all over if we are being honest. Im thankful for a husband who picks up the pieces when I’m out of town for weddings. I’m thankful for my family who will drop everything to help me. I’m grateful for the friendships I have made in this industry, both creatives and clients. The list could go on and on.
So today, as I reflect on all of these things, please know that I am thankful for YOU. Thankful for the ways you support me, push me, and allow me to be creative.. thankful for the sweet moments I get to share with you and your people on some of the most special days of your lives.

Allowing your bridesmaids to choose their dresses (within a specific color palette) is such a neat way to add some extra creativity to your special day. You get to see everyone’s personalities come out AND your bridesmaids are comfortable in what they have chosen! Wins all across the board if you ask me.

Fall Wreath Class Turner’s Antiques on November 9. There are still a few spots left! It’s going to be so fun making the perfect wreath for Thanksgiving.. or it could double as a centerpiece. Don’t worry, we’ll teach you all the tricks!

Christmas Wreath Class TEB’s Finery on December 7. We chose this date to make sure your wreath lasts the holidays! A perfect addition for holiday parties, or even a hostess gift! We’ll have a wide selection of Christmas ribbon to choose from.

🌟 I will also be “popping up” at TEB’s on November 6-7 to tie Christmas bows and allow you to shop our ribbon selections. you can bring your own ribbon for us to tie as well 🌟

A favorite things tree… with a twist! Loved decorating this tree… my favorite ornaments were the Amazon packages, Chinese takeout and putting green! Client asked for Nutcracker ribbon and “fun sprigs” and we delivered just that! We’re done decorating this season, but it’s never too early to get on the calendar for next year!
