At Extra Virgin Food Services we provide an atmosphere and ambiance that feels like a café or
bistro to bring a comfortable dining experience to your employees and guests. Our menus
include staple comfort food options that satisfy the meat and potato lovers as well as cutting
edge cuisine that appeals to the epicurean’s curious palette. All of our menu offerings are fresh
and made to order daily and provide a variety of rotating entrée specials, soups, salads and
sandwiches, along with occasional interactive food stations. We encourage our clients and
their employees to participate in the creation of our menus…your favorite recipe could be a
featured special! In each of our kitchens we provide a
professionally trained and uniformed staff of Culinarians that includes an onsite Executive
Chef/Manager. We know that each of our client partners are unique in their businesses as well as their needs. Our approach with a prospective client begins with a site visit to gather information that will
help us customize services for your facility including hours of operation, menus, catering and
vending needs and preparation of our Revenue Sharing Contract to best fit your needs. OUR SERVICES

Extra Virgin Food Services has a full service Catering Facility conveniently located in Ft Meigs Business Center in Perrysburg, Ohio to service all of your food and beverage needs for corporate events, meetings, and more throughout NW Ohio and SE Michigan. Customized menus are available to meet your needs for:
Beverage Service, Continental Breakfast, Hot Breakfast, Box Lunch, Deli Lunch Buffet, Hot Lunch Buffet, Break Out Session Snacks, Dinner, and dessert Trays. PRIVATE CATERING

At Extra Virgin Food Services your event is as important to us as it is to you. Realizing that every event is different, we take a consultative approach to catering Private Parties…all menu’s for Private Parties are customized to fit your event and budget. Our Catering Facility is conveniently located in Ft Meigs Business Center in Perrysburg, Ohio behind Levis Commons, and can provide food and beverage for your Private Party at the location of your choice in NW Ohio and SE Michigan. Customized menus are available to meet your needs for:
Anniversaries & Birthdays, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Rehearsal Dinners, Cocktail/Hors D'oeuvres Parties, Dinner Parties, Graduations, Backyard Cook-Outs, Golf Outings, Holiday/Special Occasion Parties – Super Bowl Sunday, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day,4th of July, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve. At Extra Virgin Food Services, we set ourselves apart from other area providers by serving fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables daily, as well as preparing our menus from scratch in our kitchen by trained Chefs. We have developed a 5-week cycle menu that follows the Ohio Department of Education guidelines and have adapted recipes from their “Meals that Move” selections that were tested on students in 8 different districts around throughout the State. We are licensed with the Wood County Health Department, and the Ohio Department of Agriculture to provide meals for K-12 schools throughout NW Ohio. We offer NSLP (National School Lunch Program) and CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) Services. OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

Our leadership team of Greg Rufty, Randy Hansen, and Brett Harlett bring to the table a combined
total of over 60 years experience in the food service industry. Greg Rufty, Managing Partner/COO

Greg’s career in the Food Service/Hospitality Industry over the past 32 years includes many
facets from Fast Food to Fine Dining and Contract Food Services to Private Clubs. While his
career has taken him from as far East as Boston, and West to Denver and Colorado Springs,
Colorado he is a native of Toledo and has spent the majority of his career here in NW Ohio. He has managed Brandywine Country Club, Heather Downs Country Club, and Highland
Meadows Golf Club (host site of the Jamie Farr LPGA tournament). He has owned and operated
several restaurants throughout NW Ohio which include Adam’s Ribs, Gianno’s Italian Bistro, The
Hungry Hobo, and Smedlap’s Smithy. He was Vice President of Restaurant Operations for Dillin
Corp where he oversaw the daily operations of City Barbecue in Sylvania, Ohio and Johnny
Rockets and Fat Fish Blue Home of the Funny Bone at Levis Commons in Perrysburg. He has served as the President of the NW Ohio Restaurant Association, President of the Toledo
Chapter of the Club Manager’s Association of America, and has been a Board Member of TASBA
of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce, a Board Member of the Maumee Chamber of
Commerce, and a Board Member of the State of Ohio Restaurant Association, and he is
currently a member of the Maumee Rotary Club. Greg is the Managing Partner/COO of Extra Virgin Food Services, and oversees all of the daily
operations of the company which include Corporate Dining Services, Student Dining Services,
Vending, Catering & Consulting. Randy Hansen, Partner/Vice President of Culinary Operations

Randy is a 2003 Graduate of the Florida Culinary Institute located in West Palm Beach, Florida. While attending Culinary School he worked at The Brazilian Court Hotel where he had the opportunity to do a catering with Internationally Renowned Chef Daniel Boulud. In the West Palm Beach area, Randy also worked with Puff-N-Stuff Catering where he would travel and feed as many as 60,000 people at air shows in various parts of the country. His culinary career took him to Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked at The Aladdin Hotel and at Crustacean Restaurant. While in Las Vegas he catered the American Music Awards and the Andre Agassi Tennis Classic. Family brought Randy back to NW Ohio where his roots were. He teamed up with Gladieux Catering and managed their Corporate Dining Accounts at The Fifth Third Corporate Headquarters, Imagination Station, The Government Center, and First Solar. He also spent time at the Gladieux Commissary and Catering kitchen where he helped cater many of the top events in NW Ohio. As President/Partner in charge of all Culinary Operations, Randy oversees our Chef/Manager’s at our Corporate Dining accounts, Student Dining Accounts, and at our Commissary/Catering kitchen in Perrysburg. Randy is responsible for all hiring and training of culinary personnel, menu development for all catering and contract food service operations, and product specifications for ingredients used in all of our menu’s. Randy uses a hands on approach to management, and can often be found standing side by side with his staff on the kitchen line. When not working alongside our staff in a corporate or student dining account, or executing a catering function, Randy is busy experimenting with new menu ideas to ensure that we are bringing the most up-to-date and freshest ideas to our clients. Brett Harlett, Partner/Vice President of Administration

Brett is a 1988 Graduate of Bowling Green State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Brett has joined Extra Virgin Food Services as a partner after 16 years with Kellermeyer Building Services where he began as Assistant Controller and eventually became a Senior Vice President and partner in this firm which was a leader, and the largest retail janitorial and facility maintenance company in the United States. He brings with him over 25 years of varied financial and general management experience in corporate, entrepreneurial, and consulting environments. Brett is responsible for all Administrative activities for the company including, but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Contract Administration & Negotiation, Budgeting, P&L, Strategic & Financial Planning, and Human Resources.
