Music Suite 408 is open M-Th 9am-8pm, F 1-6pm; Sat 9-2pm or by individual appointment with lesson instructor. The hours are flexible based on individual educator schedule. Music Suite 408 is a community based enrichment center that provides quality music, art, foreign language (Spanish) and a host of community workshops, events and performances at a moderate price to students of all ages, ethnic and economic backgrounds. Individualized one-to-one lessons or group instruction will provide you and your child(ren) the opportunity to achieve mastery in both realms. Through a comprehensive curriculum which includes individual and group instruction, classes, ensembles and performances, Music Suite 408 fosters the love of the arts, nurtures creative talent, and educates students in the discipline of the arts ~ a discipline that benefits all areas of learning throughout life. At Music Suite 408, the goal of arts education is ultimately expressed in the comprehensive enjoyment of the arts. Our teaching methods stress a strong foundation and traditional understanding of the arts with an emphasis on expressive ability. Students of all levels and backgrounds learn at a level of instruction that encourages them to perfect current level projects and to welcome new challenges as they gain confidence and expertise. Music Suite 408 instructors impart a variety of practical strategies that ensure confidence, relieve anxiety and enhance proficiency. 2018: 6th Anniversary with 28 full/part time educators, over 700 students of all ages and ability levels (adults too), a 3000 sq ft music space with teaching studios, the Paintbox Art Gallery and the multipurpose 2200 sq ft Westclox Fine Arts Factory for events and rental. We are also a newly affiliate of the Music Shoppe of Normal for instrument rentals.
