You’ve got mail! 💌 This time in the wedding planning process is where my couple are waiting on RSVP’s from their guests. Make this process easy on yourself and your guests.
Here are some tips on how to make sure guests RSVP on time.

1. Give them more than one option. Allow them to RSVP via mailed card or a digital way. Eg. Website or email

2. Don’t give them too long to rsvp or they may forget. 3-4 weeks max.

3. Have the RSVP deadline in multiple places. Eg. wedding website & invitations.

In the early stages of wedding planning, I always ask my clients, “what are the top three most important things about your wedding day?”
The answer I get most is, “we want our guest fill loved and taken care of.”
I think we absolutely nailed that for this amazing couple!! ❣🥂

Sometimes, things don’t go as planned on wedding day. You might accidentally bump into the champagne tower and knock it over before you even get a chance to pour your champagne. What’s most important is enjoying the moment and remembering that this is the day you married the love of your life. Personal Post Alert 🚨 34 years ago today, my family and I headed on a journey that would forever change our lives. I was 9yo and knew a handful of English words. My parents explained to my brothers and me that we were leaving our amazing and beautiful life in Palestine to for greater opportunities and a better life in the U.S. This day is always bittersweet for me. While my life here has been filled with incredible experiences and opportunities that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise, it came at a great cost of growing up far from my extended family and the best Teta (grandma) in the world. May you rest in peace, my sweet angel. 🤍

Given the current heartbreaking situation in Palestine, today feels even more heart rendering. I am reminded of the great struggles we left behind and the hopes my parents had for a peaceful future. Today, I see how beautifully our family has grown. I reflect on the journey of that little 9yo girl who arrived here not knowing the language and now owns a business, helping others. I get to feel free in the life I’ve created for myself. 🦋

I am constantly reminded of how far we’ve come as a family and as individuals, and of the infinite possibilities that are born within us every day. Today, I allow my soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise, and love. 😃

Thank you for celebrating this day with me! 🥰

Yesenia and Zachariah are two of the kindest souls I’ve met. From the moment we first chatted, I could see how much they cared for each other and the people around them, even all of their vendors. So when they told me that they wanted to have a wedding where they combined Yesenia’s Mexican heritage with Zach’s Egyptian one, I was ALL IN!!!

Guests came from all over the world and learned so much about these cultures that day. We had a Mariachi band for cocktail hour that guests just loved! Then we had an Arab Debkeh group (dance group with drums) for the grand entrance. That had every guest on their feet and on the dance floor. Me being Palestinian myself, I had a blast at this wedding! It was a Paaartay!!!

It’s always an honor to get to design one of my own visions. I got to partner with some of wine country’s best to make this dream setting come to life. We wanted to showcase one of Carneros Resort’s newest event spaces so we took this super lush green space and add vibrant colors and a ton of what I like to call “crystal curtains.” This allowed us to bring out even more of the natural beauty of our surroundings. With vineyards in the background and a stunning sunset over the Carneros hills, we were in design heaven! Take a peek!
