I’ve been a little quiet on social media. Behind-the-scenes, summer is just always a busier time for me! The kids are out of school, days are filled with adventures and travel. Plus, I’ve been working a lot, so it’s just been hard to keep up with everything. But I really wanted to share a recent session, I felt really honored to be this family’s photographer during such special time for them. I loved meeting and getting to know them during our time together! Our session was filled with love, playfulness, adventure, and really sweet moments. of smiles and curiosity. One highlight from our session was watching him enjoy time on the pool table. Inside the motel, we captured his interactions as he sat up and played with the pool balls.

🌿 The outdoor space of the motel is equally as beautiful, with vibrant gardens, beautiful stone fences, and lush greenery. Arie’s cute crab walk on the grass, as he experienced its texture for the first time, was simply precious. A standout moment was when Isabel and Arie walked along the boardwalk to the water, bathed in beautiful light, sharing a peaceful, intimate moment.

These are the moments that make family photography so rewarding. Watching babies at this stage, becoming their own little person while still having those sweet baby features, is truly magical.

My heart jumped a little when I got this email! I was chosen to be featured in Black & White Magazine! It will be a multi spread feature of my photography and also a little write up about me and my art.

I feel super honored to have my work published and featured on a global level. The images I submitted are of Motherhood and what a beautiful subject to be featured others to see. Being a Mom encompasses SO much. As mothers, we do so much and a lot of it goes unnoticed. It’s a sad truth.

Hopefully this series will shine some light on Motherhood and help someone out there feel seen.

Loved seeing this family again! Time and time I am constantly reminded why I LOVE my job and I am so grateful for it!

This was a fun one! We photographed at a beautiful spot in Tiburon! First time I’ve photographed there! It was great to see this family again and see how big their boys are now! The boys were so fun and playful! Dad had a pretty good time too! Mom is incredible and is such a sweet and loving spirit.

Manhattan, a city that never sleeps, recently became a backdrop for a truly inspiring experience. As someone who’s spent years behind the lens, this adventure to New York City was more than just a getaway—it was a solid return to my roots in street photography. The first love of photography I experienced over 25 years ago!

My days were filled with the simple love of walking MILES through the city streets, my camera in hand, ready to capture every moment. At first, I was nervous, just trying to figure out what to photograph. But once I started, the feeling of street photography came flooding back to me. Each step I took on those iconic sidewalks reminded me of why I fell in love with photography in the first place: the thrill of everyday scenes and the beauty found in seemingly ordinary moments.

One of the most rewarding parts of my journey was connecting with the regular people who keep Manhattan humming. From the cafe worker making espresso drinks to the ice cream vendor on the street, each person I met had a story worth telling. There was a certain magic in asking strangers if I could take their photo—and boy, did that take a lot of courage on my part. I’m not super outgoing, so I just had to push through my fear of rejection.

To my surprise, everyone I asked said yes! Initially, they were skeptical, but when I genuinely expressed that I wanted to take their photo just as they are, they felt seen and flattered. Like they’ve never had someone ask if they could take their photo. I saw their faces light up, feeling recognized and valued, and those moments became the highlights of my trip. There is a sense of connection, and how a simple act of kindness can break down walls.
