Every January, I force myself to do an intro. I would typically use a professional photo and better lighting and ensure my hair was on point. However, what I love most about this career is the people I meet. So, I decided to share my people with you. This is my family, and they are my “why.”

So, for tradition’s sake, here are five things about me:

My two favorite movies are The Family Stone and Mrs. Doubtfire. I could watch both endlessly.

I’ve known my husband since I was 11. Our moms worked together in the 1980’s and for the next 30 years. We didn’t date until much later in life. We celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary this year! - I don’t know how that’s possible, since I’m like 25…

One of my greatest achievements is that my daughter is a Swiftie, has the Spice Girls playing on repeat in her room, and frequently requests MMMbop in the car— I’m a product of the 90’s 🤷‍♀️

I live on a hobby farm. We have chickens, pigs, bunnies and dogs (and hopefully a 🐮 soon). At any given moment I could walk through the door with a new animal. I like to keep my family on their toes. In fact, the last time my husband went on a trip without us, he came home to a golden retriever puppy.

My dream car is a 1971 Bronco with pink sparkle paint and leopard print interior. You know, super subtle. I saw a ‘71 bronco at a car show with my dad as a kid and it’s been love ever since.

I’m happy you’re here and following along with my events and watching as I bring my clients’ dreams to life. Whether you’re a past client, current or future client, a fellow vendor, or just friends who are here to cheer me on, I appreciate it! 💕

To accentuate the moodiness of the space where guests would be dining and dancing, we kept the linens, chairs, and floral light to keep the room from feeling too heavy. It was the perfect balance of moody while also being light and airy.

Considering the spaces you’ll be in during each part of your wedding and the specific rentals, floral, and details that will take place in those areas is critical to having rooms that feel cohesive, balanced, and thought out.

You should hire vendors that you trust. Of course we want your input, it is your day, but it is imperative to keep room for your vendors to use their creativity.

So many times I’ve seen a vendor hired and be limited in their talents because the client has boxed them in with such strict instructions.

Keep in mind why you’ve hired your particular vendors and let them do what they do best, create!

Ten years ago, I laid eyes on this place as a bride to be. We had tours planned for later in the day at other venues and I canceled them immediately because I knew we had found the place we’d officially start our lives together. When you tour the *right* venue for you, you’ll know. As a wedding coordinator I have the rare opportunity to visit my wedding venue over and over. In fact, as a preferred vendor, I spend a whole lot of time here and never take it for granted. Beyond it’s beauty, it’s run by a couple of pretty awesome sisters who I am now lucky enough to count as friends. It’s not lost on me how much beauty I am surrounded by because of all the amazing venues I am fortunate enough to produce events at. Our little corner of the world is bursting with endless options for places to tie the knot. I love that this one is forever part of my love story.

Em’s family has owned this land for 160 years. Her and John had a vision for their wedding weekend on this property and alongside family, worked tirelessly to make it happen. It was a pleasure to work with them for over a year as we thought of every detail and way to make the wedding feel like them. Such an exciting feeling to see it all come to life and how happy they were.
