Larissa FastHorse made theater history with "The Thanksgiving Play," becoming the first Indigenous woman to have her writing produced on Broadway. A member of the Sicangu Lakota tribe, FastHorse requests that theaters that produce her work hire at least one other Indigenous artist for the production and showcase at least one other Indigenous artist's work in the building.
