Tomorrow night, these performers will show us all the things they learned over the last six weeks at the first ever Be A King Student Showcase! Break a leg everyone 💜

Due to increased COVID transmission rates, The Painted Mug Cafe is enacting additional safety precautions. Until further notice, masks are now required for all audience members, and any performers who are unmasked while performing will take a COVID test that day, before the event. For the safety and comfort of our patrons, show casts, and event staff, we ask that everyone respect this policy and each other. We encourage you to bring a mask, but we will have masks available for folks who do not have their own. If you have any questions about this policy, please email [email protected]

TONIGHT Boils and Ghouls and all manner of Monsters, gather together at The Painted Mug Cafe for MOVIE MUGCABRE: a monthly horror movie screening series hosted by Josh Witchens! On Saturday, June 29th we're celebrating Pride month with a showing of one of the q***rest films of the 1930s and a major inspiration for Rocky Horror: THE OLD DARK HOUSE!. Pre-show includes vintage horror movie trailers before the main event, Costumes are encouraged!
Preshow begins at 7:30pm, Movie starts at 8:00pm!

SUNDAY! It's an open stage birthday show! Honey Moon Sweet wanted a competition-free show for her birthday, so performers should make sure to get one of the last few performance slots by buying a free performer ticket! $15 admission will get you access to the open stage show followed by a dance party with DJ !

We are devastated to learn of the passing of our beloved community member, .daelicious . Daelicious hit The Painted Mug stage back in 2022 as an amateur performer, and quickly earned a reputation for his amazing energy and stunning dance moves, snatching several wins on our stage over the years. We are all completely crushed to lose yet another community member to violence, especially someone so young and full of life. He will be missed dearly 💜

Yarn Over Coffee is a "Stitch'N'Bitch" style event for Crafters who want to build community with other Crafters in an LGBTQ affirming space that isn't in a bar or nightclub. Bring any type of craft that travels well and join our community of crafters! Tickets are pay-what-you-can with a suggested donation of $5. NOTAFLOF. Masks Required.

The jude law office of Beatrix Eglantine Aurthurson Drag Legend In Training wants to play Bingo at her favorite place to hang in South Philly; The Painted Mug.
