Why I do it! Lauren and Derek are so kind to take the time to share their experience
"It took us a long time to write this post because we wanted to make sure that we were able to find the words to describe exactly how Joe Griffith made us feel and as on what was one of the most important days in our lives! I realize now that I will NEVER be able to give the review that Joe Griffith deserves bc there are no words to express to anyone how great this guy is at doing what he does!! We had a Pandemic wedding, everything that could go wrong from day 1 of the planning of it went wrong...1st we had to move the date from A Saturday in May to a Sunday in July, thank u Covid....2Nd our guest list went from more than 100 ppl for the may 16th wedding down to less than half of that for the july 26th date....the d.j. we wanted was retired....a week before our wedding we had to switch venues bc of the new restrictions gov Wolfe set in place...so things were not easy for us, the stress was unimaginable for us and my parents, my mother n i didnt sleep for months bc of this......There was one person tho who made everything a little less stressful for us by just being awesome, flexible, on top of his end things and that was the d.j?....our retired d.j. recommended one guy, Joe Griffith. From the 1st day we met him he made things smooth sailing for us! He was great, we felt like we known him for years, he just has that comfortable vibe, that maybe we were besties in previous lives type vibe! He listened to us, he is Definitely well versed with music!... hes passionate about what he does and he is just awesome. Right after we met my husband called him up and asked him if he knew of any officiants that’s could marry us, Joe said “Well, ya know, I've always wanted to get ordained anyway, how do u n Lauren feel about having ur d.j be ur officiant and being the first couple i marry????”. SCORE!!! This guy, Joe Griffith, who didn’t know us from a hole in the wall made our pandemic wedding so much easier to plan...So on the wedding day, Joe Griffith married us, couldn't even tell it was his first time being an officiant, he was calm, collected, well-spoken, personable, he did an amazing job, never once did it look like he hadn't done this before! He made our pandemic wedding one of the Best times all of our guests and ourselves ever had!! He had the crowd from minute one! During the Reception reception My husband's father came up to me, now for 6 years every conversation I have had with this man was always monotone, no expressions, no excitement in his voice, just an all-around quiet, keeps to himself kinda man, he came up to me and he said in his even-toned voice “ your officiant/d.j. where the hell do you find this guy at?” N as I was thinking "omg here we go" but I said with “why” n my new father in law said with excitement, "because he’s effing awesome i LOVE this guy!!!" Joe Griffith even had the mad dancing which he never does! He played exactly what all of our guests liked! He Held the Crowd! Joe Griffith is down earth, kind, he pays attention, professional, personable, and he's the man at what he does!!! Thank you Retired d.j. for being retired and recommending Joe Griffith bc ppl are still talking about how great of a time our wedding was and how awesome the D.J. / Officiant was! I'm not kidding when i say that every single one of our guests danced and afterward every single one made it a point to tell us how great of a job Joe Griffith had done! He made sure our day was exactly what we wanted and needed for everyone to have a memorable time! I will be recommending JOE GRIFFITH TO EVERYONE WE KNOW! My whole family will be!
