The Morris Cottage is designed differently each season, offering a unique photo opp for your wedding. This summer, the Cottage is covered in bromeliads and other plants that date back to prehistoric times for our Summer of Dinos exhibitions.

Photographer Shannon Collins Photography had this to say in their latest blog post: "It always feels like an honor for me to photograph a Morris Arboretum wedding. Especially since I’ve been a member of the Arboretum for so long, with over a decade of memories there. I love everything about it, from documenting family photos and weddings, to exploring the Garden Railway with our kids. It’s such a special place to visit, with 92-acres of gardens with more than 11,000 labelled plants. Lucky for us, Morris Arboretum had their Summer of Dinos exhibit happening simultaneously, which included a Paleontologist's Cottage. I was taken aback by the rustic walls, which were covered with bromeliads."

The couple tied the knot at Morris Arboretum Weddings on this gorgeous June day. With a mix of contemporary and traditional, their take on their celebration was a reflection of who they are as a couple.

The pair opted for a custom entrée menu featuring Chicken Biryani (spicy and non-spicy) with Raitha & Shorba and Pad Thai with Tofu. While also weaving in our popular menu items like the Signature Mediterranean Station, Artisan Cheese Board, and ‘Veggie Couture.’ This beautiful wedding was stunning AND delicious. 😋

Congratulations Hima & Alina, and cheers to a wonderful life together. 🥂
